A few days later Brooklyn was at school, it was now friday, which she was very excited for the weekend because she absolutly hated school, and shes only in the third grade, just starting to learn her multiplications.
She got into campus, as usual, but she didnt see Leah or Maddie. Brooklyn was confused, but assumed they were a little late today since they usually came to school together on fridays.
She thought maybe they were running late today.
So Brooklyn sat down at the closest bench and waited for Leah and Maddie to arrive.
By the time the bell rang, the two still werent there. Brooklyn was starting to panic, but she grabbed her backpack and went to class.
She didnt really pay attention in class, she was more worried about her friends.
Eventually, Maddie showed up late, but Leah still wasent here.
Once lunch came and the two sat down, Brooklyn asked, "Wheres Leah?"
"I dont know, i just woke up late this morning."
"Did you check if Leah was home?"
"Yeah, she wasnt, so i assumed she was already at school."
"on fridays dont you go home with leah?"
"Yeah, i dont know how thats gonna work, maybe i could stay at your house?"
"Well, its an apartment, and maybe Spencer will allow us both to hang out at the bau."
"isnt Spencer your dad?"
"yeah."
"Then why dont you call him that?"
"because i met him like a week ago?"
"oh yeah.. okay that makes a little more sense."

The school day finishes, Brooklyn asks Spencer if they could drop Maddie off at her house and he agreed.
They dropped off Maddie and went back to the bau.
Brooklyn did exactly what she had been doing for a few dahs, going to what seemed like the break room and doing her homework, well she didnt have any homework since it was a friday so...
She just sat in there, still worried about Leah.
Leah never didnt come to school, she never missed a day of school, besdies the time she was sick for like 2 days. But she always at least warned Maddie in response.
This time, even Maddie didnt know what was going on.
Brooklyn just had to hope that Leah would come on Monday and it would turn out to be nothing.. hopefully..
