Leah has still been nowhere, they tried everything. Even Leahs dad didnt know where she was.
By the next day she would be missing for an official 24 hours, it was saturday so Brooklyn and Spencer went to the police station to file a missing person report.
Brooklyn was still worried out of her mind, looking everywhere for a sign that Leah was somewhere.

Maddie was also terrified, the two usually went to the park on saturdays, sometimes Brooklyn would go to.
But since Leah was probably missing, she couldnt do that. All she could do was sit and worry.
She had nothing to do with her day.
Maddie decided to try and play a game, but she got less than 2 minutes into it when she started to worry for Leah again.
There was litrally nothing for her to do.

Spencer went to work, today he dropped Brooklyn off at Maddies house, Brooklyn was still worried out of her mind for Leah.
Spencer walked in the office, and went to his area.
"Hey Spencer," Emily said.
"oh hey."
"Brooklyn here today?"
"no."

Brooklyn was dropped off at Maddies house, the two did nothing for a while, randinly would talk, then it would go silent again.
"Wanna go walk around the block?" Brooklyn asked, hoping that would get their minds off things.
"Yeah, sure," Maddie said back.
They got their shoes on and told Maddies dad that they were just gonna be around the block.
Usually when they would 'walk around the block' it meant they were gonna be near the park.
Brooklyn always brought her mini backpack with her when they did, I always held some money just in case they ended up having to buy something.
That was something Brooklyns mom taught her to do.
They left the house and started walking in silence.
They saw the park and silently de ided to go sit over there, the house was al least a half a mile away, and with their little legs (lol) they were tired.
They sat down at a bench.
"You have any water?" Maddie asked.
It wasnt hot today, but Brooklyn assumed she'd brought one.
"Yeah, i think i do," Brooklyn looked in her backpack to see no water bottle, "I mustve forgotten water, sorry."
"its okay."
A few seconds later they heard the ice cream truck sound, the ice cream truck then parked right by the park.
"Hey, maybe theyll have water," Maddie said and started walking toward the truck.
"oh.. okay.. maybe," Brooklyn said and followed Maddie, grabning the money out of her backpack.
They got to the ice cream truck, the man there was a male with dark hair that went to his shoulders.
"Oh, why hello there little girls, what may i get you today?" The guy said.
"Uhm.. can we get two waters please?" Brooklyn asked.
"Sure thing, little girl," he said and didnt go to grab the waters.
"How much will it be?"
"Nothin'"
"Oh okay," Brooklyn was kinda freaked out by this guy.
"but, unfortunately, youll have to come back here and grab the waters yourselves."
"Okay," Maddie said.
"Maddie-"
"come on, we want our water, plus its free," Maddie said.
"fine."
The guy opened the back of the icecream truck.
"hop on in, the waters are back here, theyre kinda hidden behind some boxes but youll see them," he said, telling ys to go in the truck.
Maddie went in, so Brooklyn followed behind, Maddie went further into the truck, the ice cream man close behind Brooklyn.
Then Maddie stops.
"Theres no water..?" Maddie said confused.
Then Brooklyn felt a pain in her head. then blackness.

Maddie was confused, she looked and there was no water.
She looked at brooklyn and saw the ice cream man with a baseball bat, before Maddie could react Brooklyn got hit in the head and fell to the floor.
Maddie looked down at Brooklyn in shock.
Then Maddie felt the pain in her head and blackness.
