I am very excited to announce that Gale, my sequel to Legends of Oz, will finally be released to all of you! I wanted to hold this news back for a bit since I recently posted a chapter of this story. However, I thought some of you may be wondering: "How did Dorothy and Scarecrow reunite? How did they fall in love?" I'm happy to report that Gale will answer both of those questions. This story will also answer some questions you may have had about Dorothy's family. There will also be plenty of detail about how the Land of Oz came to be.
Now, I didn't want to just post this announcement and leave it at that. For you see, this is an announcement within an announcement. This new story won't just be a traditional one. I have decided to add a somewhat interactive element to it. Since the main focus is on the Gale family and their history, I am making family trees for each one that is covered in the story. As of right now, I have three family trees in the works. So, with each new chapter of Gale, the names of the people that were in that chapter will be revealed. I will also be putting a synopsis of what happened in the chapter with the family trees, so nothing gets confusing.
I want to note that the family trees and the synopsis will be in a separate book from the actual story. I will leave a link to it at the end of every chapter, so you can easily access it for reference.
Unfortunately, those of you who are reading this have already gotten one spoiler (who Dorothy's husband is), and I apologize for that. Gale was supposed to come before any Dorrow one-shots, but things changed. I wasn't initially going to post the family trees since they were only going to be used as writing references. However, I realized that it would get confusing with so much being revealed.
When Gale does release, I will be putting a spoiler warning on this story, so that anyone who is a new reader is fully aware that it does contain spoilers for Gale.
I also want to thank everyone who has been reading this story. It means a lot to me! Your support has given me the encouragement and motivation I need to keep writing and go through with a much bigger story.
Sorry for how long this was. Just writing it has given me a headache, so it will probably be worse reading my ramblings. I'm honestly just very excited!
