"It's that time of week again?" Mack asked as she leaned on the doorway of Marens room.

"Yep, Jess is probably missing me, and it's driving me crazy not seeing the town every day. Even though it's only been a month, I still feel homesick." Maren spoke as she finished putting items away in a bag that would set her for the weekend.

"I feel you. My boyfriend is coming up here to stay for the weekend so I don't have to drive all the way there." Mack spoke with a pencil still in her hand from doing school work.

"Nice, this weekend is especially exciting because my best friend is getting married even though it's to my idiot brother." Maren shook her head and stood up before placing her bag on the bed.

"Exciting, the hot brother or the one we hate?" Mack asked as her auburn hair shinned through the curtains.

"The one we hate." Maren said, and Mack sighed.

"I wish her the best of luck, I'm going to pick up Dany at the bus stop, but bye." Mack wave and walked out of the suite.

Maren shook her head and grabbed her belongings before walking to the parking lot. She put her bag into her new Acura Mdx that she had been saving up for and started for home.

Stars Hallow was exactly as she had left it, only maybe a little busier with the bustle of the upcoming wedding.

She parked her car outside of Luke's and walked in to see then man himself behind the register.

"Heyyy, did you just get back?" Luke asked happily as he walked around the counter and patted her shoudler.

"I did, I came straight here." She smiled.
"Before you asked, Jess isn't here yet. He's still at work." Luke spoke.

"Oh, okay, I guess I'll go find Lindsay and let her boss me around till her wedding." Maren waved to Luke before looking for her best friend.

Maren walked outside to see workers getting items of trucks and setting up under the gazebo.

She saw Lindsay with her mother, Theresa, and ran over to the bride to be.

Lindsay squealed and ran over to her best friend. They collided and squealed in each other's embrace.

"Look at you, college girl." Lindsay teased with the brightest smile Maren had ever seen on her.

"College girl, okay Bride to be." Maren laughed, and Lindsay walked her over to Therese and a lady in a yellow blouse and skirt.

"Oh, dear, Maren, it's so good to see. How have you been?" Therese said before hugging the girl and letting her go.

"I've never been better." Maren said, and Therese nodded.

"Maren, this is Lisa, our wedding planner." Lindsay introduced, and Maren shook her hand.

Therese handed her daughter a poster of Lindsay and Dean in a loving embrace.

"You guys look adorable in that." Maren smiled.

"I know, right?" Lindsay said.
"Now I want to make sure everyone sees it." Lindsay said.

"How about by the cake?" Therese asked, and Lisa clicked her fingers before writing it down.

Maren heard tires on pavement and looked to see Jess's beat up 1969 Ambassador stop by Lukes.
