"Jess." Maren breathed out, and with his name, Jack could finally put a name to a face.

Jess still looked at her in disbelief as if she were a ghost.

Luke carefully set the coffees down, and Jack grabbed his cup into his hands.

Jess looked to Jack with a raised brow as to how close Maren was to him.

"I can't do this." Maren spoke before running outside.

"Maren!" Jess called with urge in his voice, but Jack stepped in his way before he could run after her. 

"I don't think that's a good idea." Jack spoke, looking to the Mariano boy.

"I don't care what you think." Jess spoke with an annoyed expression.

"Just stay away from her." Jack said before turning in his heel and walking after the runaway girl.

Jack found her in the passenger seat of his car, so he sat beside her on the driver's side.

"Are you okay?" Jack asked after a moment of silence.

"I'm fine. Even after all the hurt he put me through, I still love him. Could you drop me off at the dorms? I hate to make you drive around anymore." Maren asked, looking to the man.

"Yea." He mumbled and drove out of stars Hallow.

"So that was Jess?" Jack asked.
"Yea, he looks the same, except his hair got longer. He would style it almost like yours, actually. He would go through so many bottles of hair gel. " Maren spoke with a laugh.

"Currently on my third bottle this month." Jack said, and Maren shook her head with a light smile.

Jack soon turned into the driveway of the dorms and stopped in front of hers.

"Thank you so much for everything. It means a lot." Maren said gratefully to the boy.

"Of course, you call me if you need anything." He kissed her cheek, and Maren got out of his car and walked over to her own and got in.

She waited for him to leave before wiping her cheek where he had kissed her and started up her car and took off to the hospital.

She made it and got out before heading up to Nelly's hospital room.

She walked in and saw Nelly sitting up in her bed as she stared, loving at the baby in her arms.

"Nelly!" Maren said in shock before rushing over to her with the sound of a shower running from the background.

"Maren." Nelly said weakly and held her hand out for the girl to take while her other hand held the baby.

"I'm so happy to see you awake." Maren said and sat in the chair Sam had been occupying earlier.

"How are you feeling?" Maren asked the girl.
"Honesty, I don't really know. Since I got in the hospital, I've been out of it, and I can't really remember anything." Nelly said as Sam emerged from the bathroom from taking a shower with his dirty clothes on.

"Oh, here I have the hospital bag you packed." Maren said and grabbed the bag at the door and gave it to Sam.

"Oh, thank you." Sam said before fishing out clean clothes he packed and going to the bathroom to change.
