A/N: Hiya guys! I'm trying to update every Sunday. If I don't get my chapter up on Sunday, I'll update it as soon as possible with a little omake-type-thing. If you don't know what those are, they're kinda like skits at the end. I don't own Fairy Tail or any of its characters. Enjoy the chapter!
Lucy's P.O.V.
I sat bored of watching Loke and Natsu play basketball. Unfortunately, there was nothing better to do. Natsu's mom wouldn't be home until midnight and Aries didn't get out of work until nine thirty. I sighed wondering how Levy was. I walked around Natsu's yard, since it was so huge, and called the hospital that Levy was in. I asked how she was doing and they told me that she was fine. Then they hung up on me. I began to get really irritated. 'You're hangry,' I told myself. 'Calm down.'
After getting bored of basketball, Loke and Natsu switched to baseball. They whipped the ball at each other and tried to catch the ball with their bare hands. I sighed and told them that I was going inside. They just nodded and kept playing. I sat in Natsu's living room, staring out the window. From the look of the house, Natsu seemed to be friends with pretty much everyone. He had a bunch of pictures with notes next to them, saying what the pictures meant. I shook my head at a few of the pictures. For example, he took a picture of his little brother in the bathroom crying. The note read, "When he realized he was a boy."
There were a lot of other pictures. I saw a picture of Loke and Natsu younger in baseball uniforms. This note said, "When I realized he wasn't such a pretty boy." I couldn't help but laugh at that one. Another picture was of Natsu and Gray in preschool fighting. "When I met my eternal rival. The teacher had to take a picture to prove to our parents that we fought." The pictures said a lot about Natsu. There were even a few pictures of me. Curiosity beat my sense of privacy so I continued to look at the pictures and read the notes. "New girl Lucy. She's okay." I looked at one of the other pictures. It was me, Natsu, and Loke. "First group science project of the year. We messed up big time." I laughed remembering that project. All we had to do was add a few reactants to a vial of warm water. Natsu brought the water back boiling and Loke didn't measure any of the reactants right. He didn't even use the right reactants. That day, he had forgotten his glasses, so I didn't blame him too much. They didn't trust me so I just sat and watched. Our project smelled terrible, and it exploded after five seconds.
I wanted to keep looking at the pictures but there was a knock at the door. I peeked through the window to see who it was. I saw a girl from one of the pictures. 'She must be Lisanna,' I thought. I giggled at the thought. 'She's Natsu's future wife.' I let all of my laughter out before I answered the door.
"Hi, you must be Lisanna," I said, trying not to laugh."Ummm, is Natsu home?" she asked.
"Yeah," my face fell. "He's out back with Loke. They've been out there for awhile."
"Oh," she said, turning to leave.
"You can come in," I said. "I'm sure Natsu would love to see his future wife."
"You know about that?!"
Lisanna was bright red and panicking. I giggled a little before nodding.
"Did he tell you?"
"No," I said. "I saw it on his wall."
"His wall?" she asked.
"You know, where he has a bunch of pictures and notes full of memories."
"Oh, that wall. I never really looked at it. I saw it when we were younger and there were only around twenty pictures. Now he has over a thousand!"
Lisanna stepped inside and I lead her out back. Natsu and Loke had switched to playing volleyball. I had no idea why they played so many sports.
"Hey, Natsu!" I called. "Your wife's here!"
Natsu froze, turning red and the ball hit him in the face. Loke laughed at Natsu. He froze up because he was embarrassed and he got hit in the face for it. I grinned. That's what he got for yelling at the top of his lungs, in the cafeteria that I liked Loke.
Natsu's P.O.V.
I couldn't believe that had just happened. Lucy knew about Lisanna. And I lost a bet to Loke. There was no way I could continue living.
"That's it!" I yelled. "I'm done with life!"
"No you're not," Loke told me. "Lisanna would become a widow and there's also our bet."
"What bet?" the girls asked.
"Nothing."
"It's nothing important," Loke said. "You'll find out eventually."
"That's not fair," Lucy whined. "I have to wait to go home, after helping you. And now, I have to wait to find out what your bet is."
"I guess I could tell you," Loke said. "But Lisanna has to wait."
"Why do I have to wait?"
"Sorry, but I owe Lucy, not you."
Loke went over and whispered something to Lucy. She turned bright red and shook her head. She said something that I couldn't hear and he nodded. I looked at Lisanna who was trying to think of what our bet was. 'Great,' I thought. 'I can't believe I lost.'
Lucy's P.O.V.
It was ten P.M. and Aries still wasn't out of work. She was supposed to get out at nine thirty but she had to stay longer. I was pretty sure it was against the law to make a student stay this long at work. I called Levy's dad, who was still at work, and told him that I was staying over at a friend's house. He still didn't question me. I could tell what happened with Levy was still bothering him.
Lisanna also decided to sleep over.
"I'm not gonna leave you alone with them," she said.
I didn't realize how bad being the only girl would have been. There was Loke, who I didn't completely trust... yet. Then, there was Natsu, who is super childish and would pull some kind of prank on the person who fell asleep first or something. I also heard, from many sources, he snores really loud.
Loke and Natsu finally stopped "practicing" when it started to rain... at eleven. When they came inside, they started practicing again, with me and Lisanna trying to sleep in the middle. Eventually it became midnight and they were still practicing. I whispered a plan to Lisanna and she nodded. We waited until Natsu messed up, that's when we would strike.
Lisanna pulled Natsu's feet out from under him and I did the same to Loke. Then, we began to suffocate them with pillows.
"If you don't let us sleep," we threatened, "we will kill you."
Obviously we didn't hear a clear response, they couldn't breathe. But they quit practicing and decided to sleep. Luckily, Natsu didn't pull any pranks and we all slept peacefully.
