Taehyung's pov

Taehyung leaned back in his chair, his gaze fixed on the city skyline visible through the expansive window of his office. The morning sun cast a warm glow over the room, but his thoughts were far from tranquil. He had known about the engagement plan for weeks, ever since his parents first broached the topic. It was a strategic move, they said-a union that would strengthen both families' business interests. But for Taehyung, it meant something more.

From the moment he first saw Breeh at that party, he was captivated. There was an undeniable allure in her presence, something that drew him in. He couldn't help but recall that evening, the way she moved with grace and spoke with a quiet confidence that left him intrigued.

"I have to make her see that this isn't just about business," he murmured to himself, his voice a blend of determination and longing. "Breeh deserves to know how I feel."

•Early Encounters•

In the weeks that followed, Taehyung seized every opportunity to get to know Breeh better. They crossed paths at social gatherings, business events, and even chance encounters that felt like fate but what if they planned??

Each time, he made sure to engage her in meaningful conversations, hoping to spark a connection beyond the superficial.

he remarked something during one such encounter, his tone laced with admiration. Her laughter, melodic and genuine, lingered in his mind long after their meetings ended.

Despite his genuine interest, Taehyung couldn't shake his natural inclination towards a cocky demeanor. He often found himself teasing Breeh, pushing her buttons just to see the spark in her eyes. "You should see the way people react when they hear your name," he had said once, a mischievous grin playing on his lips. "You're practically a celebrity."

•Engagement Announcement•

The cafe buzzed with the chatter of patrons as Taehyung awaited Breeh's arrival. His fingers drummed nervously on the table, a telltale sign of his inner turmoil. When she finally stormed in, her eyes ablaze with emotion, Taehyung's heart sank.

"Breeh..." he began, reaching out to her. Her expression was a storm of emotions, making it clear that this engagement had taken her by surprise.

Their conversation was fraught with tension, accusations hurled from both sides as they navigated the unexpected announcement of their engagement. "I didn't plan for this to happen so suddenly, Breeh. " he said earnestly, hoping to convey his sincerity.

Her eyes searched his, a mixture of anger and confusion clouding her features. "So, this is all just a business deal to you? My feelings don't matter?" she retorted, her voice shaking.

Taehyung's gaze hardened, and a smirk tugged at the corner of his mouth. "Feelings? This isn't about feelings, Breeh. It's about our futures. And let's be honest, you and I both know how beneficial this could be." He leaned in slightly, his tone teasing. "But if it makes you feel better, I do find you quite... intriguing."

Her jaw clenched, trying to contain her rising anger. "Is this all just a game to you? What about my feelings?"

Taehyung shrugged casually, his tone indifferent. "Come on, Breeh. You know how these things work. It's about our careers, not personal feelings."

Her voice trembled with suppressed emotion. "Is this all just a game to you? What about my feelings?"

Taehyung's gaze hardened momentarily, his pride bristling. "Feelings? This isn't about feelings, Breeh. It's about our futures." He softened slightly, his voice dropping to a more intimate tone. "But that doesn't mean I don't care about you."

Alone in the quiet of his apartment, Taehyung stared out at the city lights twinkling in the distance. The weight of the day's events hung heavy on his shoulders as he grappled with his conflicted emotions.

"How do I make her understand that my feelings for her are real?" he wondered aloud, pacing the room. "I didn't agree to this engagement lightly..." He paused, running a hand through his hair in frustration. "I wanted to reveal my feelings to her in my own time, not like this."

He remembered the first time he saw Breeh at that party, her beauty striking and her demeanor captivating. "From the moment I saw you, Breeh, I knew there was something special about you," he had whispered to himself countless times. But now, with their futures intertwined by circumstance, it seemed like an impossible task to convey those feelings genuinely.

Taehyung's thoughts were interrupted by a memory of Breeh's smile, the way it lit up a room and made his heart race. "Am I just another player to her?" he questioned, a hint of vulnerability seeping into his usually confident exterior. "Or can she see that there's more to me than just this cocky facade?"

He sank onto the couch, his mind a whirlwind of emotions. The desire to be with Breeh was strong, but he knew he had to tread carefully. "I need to show her that this isn't just a game," he resolved, determination steeling his features. "I need to make her see the real me."

"The reality of someone is often found in the quiet moments, where true selves are revealed beyond the facade."
