Breeh's Pov

The cityscape blurred past as I sped down the highway, my thoughts racing even faster. The cool leather of the steering wheel grounded me, but only slightly, against the whirlwind of emotions churning inside. I had tried to maintain my calm, but the events of the last few days had pushed me to my limits. Now, my last hope lay in the hands of someone unexpected: Min Yoongi, the scandal coverer .

My grip tightened on the wheel as I remembered the call from Lisa just before I left for New York. Her urgent tone still echoed in my mind, warning me about Yoongi's latest scoop. He had uncovered the secret of my sham engagement to Taehyung and was preparing an explosive article. The thought of Taehyung's reputation being ruined was unbearable, even if he was partly to blame. His parents' actions were reprehensible, but I couldn't let him take the fall alone.

Flashback~~

I'm packing my bags, getting ready to leave for New York, when my phone rang. Seeing Lisa's name on the screen, I picked up quickly. "Hello, who's there?"

"Breeh, it's Lisa here..........you need to know something," Lisa's voice was tense, almost frantic. "Yoongi has found out about your fake engagement to Taehyung. He's planning to publish an article about it."

I froze, the implications hitting me like a ton of bricks. "What? How did he find out?"

"I don't know all the details," she replied, "but you need to stop him. This could ruin Taehyung's career, and probably it won't look good for you either."

I took a deep breath, trying to calm my racing heart. "Alright, I'll handle it. Thanks for letting me know, Lisa."

Hanging up, I immediately called Jimin, he iy owner of the magazine Yoongi worked for. "Jimin, we need to talk. It's urgent."

Within an hour, I was at Jimin's office, explaining the situation. "Yoongi's planning to publish an article about my engagement to Taehyung. I need you to stop him because this is going to cause harm to someone who doesn't even at fault."

Jimin frowned, concern etched on his face. "Breeh you that I can do anything for you as your admirer but as businessman I want something in return."

"Yes?," I said firmly. "As it's not only about me and Taehyung's reputation is at stake too. I'll do whatever possible."

Jimin nodded, picking up his phone. After a brief conversation with Yoongi, he turned to me. "Yoongi will hand over all the evidence because I'm allowing you to publish anything about that Article." Before Yoongi could answer Jimin cutted the line."

"So what is it?" I asked, curiosity piqued.

"As you know I've admired your work for a long time," Jimin began, "and I think you have immense potential. I want to be your publisher."

I was taken aback. "Jimin, are you doing this out of pity because of Yoongi?"

He shook his head. "No, Breeh Yoongi did nothing wrong it's his job but yeah it cause some harm to people privacy but the reason I want to be your publisher is I genuinely believe in your talent. This could be beneficial for both of us."

After a moment's hesitation, I nodded. "Alright, Jimin. I'm thankful for everything."

With the evidence safely in my possession and a new professional partnership with Jimin, I left for New York, hoping to leave the scandal behind.

Present ~~

Now, here I was, driving back into the chaos I had tried to escape. As I approached the towering building of Jimin's company, I felt a surge of determination. It was time for Taehyung to realize he had messed with the wrong person.

The moment I stepped into the building, I spotted Jimin pacing in the lobby. His face lit up with concern and anger when he saw me. "Breeh! Are you okay?"

I forced a smile, trying to reassure him. "I'm fine, Jimin. Let's talk in Yoongi's office. There's a lot to discuss."

Jimin nodded, leading the way through the bustling corridors. My heart pounded with each step, the weight of my decision pressing down on me. Finally, we reached Yoongi's cabin. He looked up from his desk as we entered, his sharp eyes narrowing with curiosity and a hint of apprehension.

"Breeh!" Yoongi greeted, his tone neutral but his gaze piercing. "So not glad with your visit."....huh sarcasm!

I took a deep breath, steadying myself. "We need to talk about the proof you gave me, Yoongi."

Yoongi leaned back in his chair, his expression unreadable. "I remember but correction I didn't have them you got them?"I rolled my eyes in frustration.

"Whatever but yeah you can have them back, but have to publish them" I said, my voice steady. "

Yoongi's expression shifted from cocky to surprise. "You want me to publish the article?.....Well I'll do it with all my pleasure."

"I'll really appreciate that." I replied, my voice steady despite the storm inside me. "But I need time to prepare for the fallout. This isn't just about exposing them; it's about breaking free from their control."

Jimin, who had been silently absorbing everything, finally spoke. "Breeh, are you sure about this? I hope you are aware of the outcome of this action."

I met his concerned gaze, feeling a mix of gratitude and determination. "I know, Jimin. But now this isn't about closure. It's about stepping out of my shell and reclaiming myself."

Yoongi nodded, his respect for my resolve evident. "I can delay the article, but not for long. We'll need to act quickly."

"Hmm" I said, feeling a sense of solidarity with these two men.

As I sat across from Yoongi and Jimin, I couldn't help but reflect on the irony of the situation. Here I was, plotting a major expose with the very people I had once viewed as adversaries. Yoongi, the scandal coverer, now my reluctant ally; Jimin, a great friend and my publisher, standing by my side.

Yoongi leaned forward, his fingers steepled under his chin. "We need to ensure the timing is perfect. Too early, and they'll have time to counteract. Too late, and we lose the momentum."

Jimin nodded in agreement, his face serious. "What about the personal angle, Breeh? How are you holding up?"

I sighed, running a hand through my hair. "It's been tough, Jimin. But I have to do this. Not just for me, but for Taehyung too. He deserves to know the truth, even if it hurts."

Yoongi's eyes softened slightly. "You're a stronger person than most, Breeh. We'll make sure this story has the impact it deserves."

Jimin's voice broke through my thoughts. "Breeh, we need to prepare for the backlash. Are you ready for that?"

I met his gaze, determination burning in my chest. "Yes, Jimin. I'm ready."

The meeting stretched on, every detail scrutinized and planned. Yoongi's expertise in handling scandals was invaluable, and Jimin's strategic mind ensured we covered all our bases. By the time we finished, I felt a strange mix of exhaustion and exhilaration.

As we mapped out our plan, I couldn't shake the feeling of impending doom. This article would change everything. My family would be furious, Taehyung would be devastated, and I... I would be free. But at what cost?
