Breeh's Pov

The morning sunlight streamed through the gaps in the curtains, casting gentle patterns across the room. I squinted at the clock-it was already past ten. The throbbing headache from last night's party had left me feeling disoriented. Jimin had been incredibly attentive, making sure I got home safely after I'd suddenly felt unwell. As I sat on the edge of my bed, memories of the party flickered through my mind. The sharp pain in my head was nothing compared to the ache in my heart, missing the warmth and closeness of my sister Hae-in.

I missed the days when our bond was unbreakable, filled with shared secrets and unconditional support. Now, the void left by her indifference felt like an emotional chasm, deepening with each passing day.

A beep from my phone interrupted my thoughts. It was Jennie's message, reminding me of our plans for today. I quickly freshened up, choosing a flowing, pale blue dress adorned with delicate white flowers. The dress cinched at the waist with a satin belt, giving it an effortless elegance. I styled my hair in loose, soft waves, letting it cascade naturally, and opted for minimal makeup-a touch of mascara and gloss. The final touch was a spritz of my favorite floral perfume, hoping it would lift my spirits.

Jennie arrived soon after, greeting my family with her usual warmth. As I entered the living room, I saw Hae-in walk in. "Good morning," I said, trying to sound cheerful.

Hae-in glanced at me with a curt nod before turning away. Her cold shoulder stung, but I forced a smile and followed Jennie outside. I couldn't shake the feeling of rejection, but I tried to push it aside, focusing instead on Jennie's upbeat chatter during the car ride.

Jennie buzzed with excitement about a new café she had discovered and her plans to redecorate her apartment. Her enthusiasm was contagious, and I found myself laughing and engaging with her stories, finding solace in her energy.

We arrived at an impressive, modern building, and I gave Jennie a curious look. "Where are we?"

Jennie's eyes sparkled with mischief. "This is my friend's place. She's a journalist and wants to interview you for a major contest for Harper's"

My heart skipped a beat. "Are you even serious?"

Jennie grinned and pulled me into a tight hug. Her excitement was infectious, and I couldn't help but feel a surge of happiness. We made our way inside, greeted by a stylish lobby bathed in natural light.

Moments later, a striking woman approached us. Jennie introduced her as Park Rosè. Rosè exuded a sophisticated charm, her presence both calming and impressive.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Breeh," Rosè said warmly. "Jennie has spoken highly of you. We're thrilled to feature you in our contest."

I smiled at Jennie's thoughtfulness. "Thank you so much, Rosè. I'm excited about this opportunity."

Later Jennie excused herself to take a call, leaving me alone with Rosè. We settled into a cozy seating area, and Rosè began explaining the Harper's contest and how Jennie had suggested me.

"Breeh do have any idea about the buzz in industry recently," Rosè said, her tone taking on a more confidential note.

I leaned forward, intrigued. " I haven't heard anything!"

Rosè's expression grew more serious. "There's something personal about your life going off around as gossip I need to share with you."

I felt a rush of curiosity. "What is it?"

Rosè's gaze held mine steadily. "There's been talk in the industry about a potential romantic connection you might have with someone well-known."

My heart skipped a beat. "What? Who?"
