5. The slap

(Marjorie's Pov)
As I go to let Sorscha know Charlotte was going home I hear this loud banging come down the stairs when I see char emerge from behind the wall. "Hey Char is Mia taking you home now?" I ask her when I get no reply "charlotte is everything ok?" Genuinely concerned for her as I see her eyes full of tears then I see Mia following closely behind her sobbing harder then I've seen anyone sob before, "hey hey Mia what's wrong are you ok" I ask her, even though we've never been the best of friends seeing her cry like this pulled on something in my heart, when I hear her say "she just fucking broke up with me when I told her I was taking her home and now she won't speak to me" when I hear her say that I run infrount of char and stop her from moving anywhere. "MARJORIE GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM ME, IM GOING HOME!" She starts screaming at me so everyone in the nursery could hear her. I grab her wrists and pull her to the office as I tell Mia to follow me, when we get into the office I close the door and say to Charlotte, who is refusing to look at anyone, " I don't know what's going on with you today but your not leaving this room without a explanation to Mia"

"I already told her I don't love her anymore ok, isn't that enough" she starts saying with her voice raising at every word she says. I look over at Mia who breaking down the more she hears Charlotte talk. "How long have u been feeling like this then because you chose a random time to say it when Mia was only trying to help you" when suddenly I feel my cheek stinging and my head fall back. "CHARLOTTE WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOUR DOING?" I hear Mia shouting from above me. I'd never heard her shouting like this before.

I started to lose consciousness with the last thing I heard was Mia screaming at Charlotte saying "if you walk out this office now I'm calling the police on you." And she sounded like she meant it. Then as Charlotte went to walk out she grabbed the the phone and went to dial 999 as Charlotte came rushing over to her and pushed her hands away from the phone shouting "YOU REALLY WANT TO DO THAT BECAUSE IF YOU IT THAT ELLIE AND LIA LOSE THERE MUM AND WE BOTH KNOW U LOVE THEM TOO MUCH TO DO THAT" and that was the last thing i remember.
