CHAPTER 9

Since Mikhs and Aiah both have their own cars they have decided na mag convoy nalang.

They arrived at a convenience store malapit sa condo ni Aiah.

"Pick your ice cream sagot ko na" Mikhs said.

"Huy boang ano ka ba I'll pay mine." Aiah said.

"No I insist." Mikhs said.

"Ikaw ha nakakarami ka na sakin." Aiah said.

"Edi bumawi ka nalang." Mikhs said and then proceeded walking towards the ice cream section.

They bought their ice creams and stayed at the back of Mikhs's car. They sat there dahil SUV ito.

"Thank you for this." Aiah said while eating her ice cream.

"Anything for you." Mikhs said then smiled at Aiah.

"Teka lang, tanong ko lang pala sayo. What are you doing there kanina? Bakit ka napatambay dun?" Aiah said.

"Wala. Medyo pagod lang sa training and I want to unwind myself." Mikhs lied.

Although the truth is sobrang nafrustrate siya sa nangyari kanina between her and Colet mas minabuti niyang si Aiah muna ang makaramdam ng comfort kahit wag na siya.

They just stayed there for an hour, nag kukulitan at nag-aasaran na para bang mga batang walang problema sa mundo.

They felt comfort in each other's arms that night at para bang biglang nawala ang sakit at galit na nararamdaman nilang pareho.

"So.. it's getting late now. I'll so you tomorrow at school?" Aiah said.

"Sure. I'll see you tomorrow Aiah." Mikhs said and then smiled at Aiah.

"Don't smile at me like that Mikhs nakakainis ka." Aiah said and gently slapped Mikhs's shoulder.

"Bakit nanaman Arceta?!" Mikhs said.

"Ang ganda kasi ng ngiti mo eh. Pwede bang ngumiti ka nalang palagi?" Aiah said.

"Nakakangalay naman yan." Mikhs said.

"NO! I mean bawasan mo yung pagiging cold aura mo ganon. Nakakatakot ka kasi eh." Aiah said.

Napangiti naman si Mikhs sa sinabi nito.

"I'll try my best." Mikhs said.

"Sige ha. Bukas na agad start. Good bye Mikhs!" Aiah said at tumayo na ito para pumunta sa sasakyan niya.

"Good bye Aiah." Mikhs said and waved Aiah good bye.

Mikhs got home and there he saw Maloi curled up at the living room and it seems like naka tulog na ito.

"Bakit dito naman natulog to?" Tanong ni Mikhs sa sarili.

He looked at the table and there he saw the cute set up that Maloi prepared for him. Nakita naman niyang naka takip pa rin ang mga pagkain and there were also candles at the table.

Mikhs slapped his forehead because of frustration dahil hindi manlang niya nabigyang halaga ang hinanda ng kaibigan niya para sa kanya.

Mikhs was about to open the foods on the table when Loi woke up.

"Nakauwi ka na pala. Kumain ka na?" Loi said.

Mikhs looked at Loi and smiled at her before speaking.

"No I haven't. Ikaw?" Mikhs asked.

"I already did." Tipid na sagot ni Loi.

"Mind joining me again? The food looks good and its kind a sad if I'll eat alone oh." Mikhs said at halatang nag papa cute ito kay Maloi.
