CHAPTER 40

Months after the wedding and after being officially together, Mikhael invited Aiah to move in with him.

"Where are we going ba? Kanina nasa manila pa tayo ah." Aiah said while sitting at the passenger seat.

"Basta kalma ka lang diyan babi. Don't stress yourself out." Mikhs said while driving.

"Akala ko ba sa condo mo tayo tutuloy?" Aiah said.

Not long after they finally parked in front of a house. A modern type of house.

"Whose house is this?" Aiah asked.

"It's our home..." Mikhs said then smiled.

"W-what?" Aiah said in surprise.

"Come on let's go." Mikhs said then hurriedly went out of the car para pag buksan ng pinto ng sasakyan si Aiah.

Mikhael guided Aiah pababa ng sasakyan, Aiah couldn't help not to be amazed with the view she's seeing right now. They entered the house at hindi mapagkakaila ang laki nito.

"You bought this?" Aiah said while her eyes are roaming around the house.

"The seller told me that this is suitable for a family..." Mikhs said while looking at Aiah.

"I want to build a family with you Aiah." Mikhael added.

Aiah was surprised with what Mikhs said, she turned her back and looked at Mikhs.

"I want to spend the rest of my life with you Aiah. I know you just said yes to me, pero ayaw na kitang pakawalan ulit tulad ng dati." Mikhael said.

"Ayaw na rin kitang pakawalan Mikhs." Aiah said as she step closer to Mikhael giving him a tight hug.

"This time I will take advantage of what we have. I let you slip once and I won't let that happen again. I will give you the love that you deserve babi. Mahal na mahal kita." Mikhs said then kissed Aiah's forehead.

[FAST FORWARD]

Mikhs and Aiah finally settled in, they started building their home and dreaming of having a family there. Their love is a perfect example that red string theory is real. Mapunta man sa iba pero kung kayo talaga, kayo hanggang sa dulo.

Mikhael sent Aiah to her office that day, matagal na din mag mula noong may gulong nangyari sa kanila. They are finally at peace and went back to their normal lives without tight security and fear of being shot.

"Good afternoon Sir, thank you for lending me some of your time." Mikhs said as she faces Aiah's family.

"What is it that brings you here Mikhael?" Antonio said while having a coffee. Mikhs visited Aiah's family for an important thing.

"Tito, Tita, Kuya Ian, I came here to tell you something really important." Mikhs said sitting in front of Aiah's family.

"I know it's too early for this but uh—" Mikhs stopped and showed them a small box.

"Gusto ko lang po sana hingiin ang kamay ni Aiah sa inyo." Mikhs said while looking at Antonio's eyes.

"Oh my god..." Marylou said in surprise at napatakip pa ito ng dalawang kamay sa bibig.

"Are you sure about that Mikhs?" Antonio asked while staring directly at Mikhs' eyes.

"Y-yes sir. I love your daughter and I can see my future with her. Malinis po ang intention ko sa anak niyo at hinding hindi ko po siya sasaktan kahit kailan." Mikhs said.
