"You were shot.." Maloi said and it echoed in Mikhael's head.

"I was just talking to Aiah's father kanina and then a bullet came out of nowhere and then—" Mikhs said as he begins to cry.

"Hey babalik ka pa doon. Hindi pwedeng hindi. Aiah is waiting for you." Maloi said.

"I kinda want to stay here and I kinda want to go back there because I have a lot of things to take care of." Mikhs said.

[IN REAL WORLD]

"Who's the family of the patient?" the doctor said as he went out of the operating room.

"Kami po!" Aiah said at agad na tumayo ito.

"What is your relationship with the patient?" the doctor asked.

"G-girlfriend po." Aiah nervously said. She said it in despair para lamang makakuha ng impormasyon tungkol kay Mikhs.

"Ma'am your boyfriend is in critical condition. He lost a lot of blood, he even coded during the process." The doctor said.

"He will be in clinically induced comma for a while dahil he ruptured an artery." He added.

"Magiging okay po ba siya Doc?" Aiah said with a teary eyes.

"We will do our best to give him the best care possible." The doctor said.

Aiah sat at the waiting area, she cried her heart out. Her parents immediately approached her and hugged her tightly.

Few hours after they finally entered Mikhs room, his friends seeing him with medical apparatus inserted in his system. Aiah couldn't bare seeing Mikhael in that state.

"Hey promise me you'll wake up. Hihintayin kita Mikhs." Aiah said at lumapit sa tabi ng kama ni Mikhs.

"Hijo i'm very sorry for what happened. I really appreciate your heroic act towards me, let me make it up to you." Antonio said.

"Mikhs gigising ka ha. Wag kang susuko. Hihintayin ka naming." JR said while staring at his friend.

[IN ALTERNATE WORLD]

"They're waiting for you down there Mikhs." Maloi said as they sat at the tree trunk fallen on the sand.

"I want to be here with you Loi..." Mikhs said while staring at the sea waves.

"What about Aiah?" Maloi asked then glanced at Mikhs.

"What about Aiah?" Mikhs answered at ibinaling ang tingin kay Maloi.

"Who will protect Aiah if you'll stay here?" Maloi genuinely asked.

"She's waiting for you Mikhs and I do believe that she loves you." Maloi added.

Mikhs didn't say a word naupo lang ito at napa-hingang malalim. Mikhs realized what Maloi told him.

"Mikhael can you be honest with me?" Maloi asked.

"What is it?" Mikhs asked.

"Do you love Aiah?" Maloi asked.

"I do... but as a friend." Mikhs said.

"Mikhael its okay if you'll fall for her. Mas mapapanatag ako kung siya." Maloi said then smiled.

Aiah on the other hand is still with Mikhs at the hospital. She is sitting at the bedside chair holding Mikhs' hand.

"Aiah do you need something? Kami na bahala kumuha sa condo mo. We'll also grab clothes for you since you don't want to leave." Staku said.

"I appreciate all of it Staks. Thank you." Aiah said.
