Six hours later, Mikhs finally landed in New York. His coach are talking to him about the jobs that they have to deal with while in New York.

While on their way to the hotel kung saan sila mag s-stay, Mikhael is busy reading the game plan that they created. Silang mga Coaches ay nagkakaroon ng meeting habang nasa loob ng mini bus ang mga ito.

Mikhael didn't get the chance to touch his phone because his secretary is the one holding it. Unfortunately for him, hindi pa din nito natatanggal ang flight mode.

After an hour of driving, they finally arrived at the hotel kung saan sila mag s-stay ng isang linggo.

"Sir your phone." The secretary said bago ito humiwalay kay Mikhs.

"Thank you so much." Mikhs said then smiled at halata ang pagod sa mukha nito. He layed on his bed at inopen ang phone.

Napakunot naman ang noo nito nang makita ang ilang missed calls mula kay Mia at unknown number pati na rin sa tito nito.

Agad naman siyang nakaramdam ng kaba dahil sa dami ng tawag na nareceive niya. He immediately called Mia to ask kung anong nangyayari.

"Mia? Hello? Bakit ang dami mong missed calls?" Takang tanong ni Mikhs.

"Kuya... where are you?" Mia asked.

"I'm at the hotel already. Why? May problema ba? Nasaan si ate Maloi mo?" sunod sunod na tanong naman nito sa kapatid.

"Kuya we're at the hospital—" Mia was stopped nang biglang sumingit si Mikhs.

"WHAT?! ANONG GINAGAWA NIYO DIYAN?" gulat na tanong ni Mikhs dito.

"Kuya si Ate Maloi kasi..." Mia said.

"What?! What happened to her?!" Mikhs said at napatayo na ito. He grabbed his jacket and his belongings.

"Kuya hinimatay daw kasi siya sa office kanina. We're trying to contact you pero naka off ata ang phone mo." Mia said.

"Wait for me there. Babalik ako!" Mikhs said at dali-daling lumabas dala ang mga gamit upang mag paalam sa mga kasama nito.

Mikhs knocked at Coach Akimoto's room at buti nalang ay mabilis itong nag bukas.

"Hey Li—where are you going?" Takang tanong nito kay Mikhael.

"Sir I have to go back in San Francisco. My wife is in the hospital.." panic na sabi ni Mikhs.

"But what about the game Mikhs?? You know what forget it. Go ahead! I can handle this." Coach Akimoto said.

"Thank you so much sir. I owe you a lot!" Mikhs said and gave Coach Akimoto a quick hug.

"Just please be safe and be with your wife. Take care Lim!" pahabol na sabi nito bago mawala sa paningin si Mikhs.

Mikhs ran as fast as he could. Mabilis itong naka para ng taxi and while on his way to the airport he tried calling Mia.

"Hello..? Kuya...?" Mia said as she answers Mikhs's call. He can hear the noise at Mia's background.

"Mia anong nangyayari!?" Mikhs said at naluluha na ito sa kaba.

"Kuya si Ate Maloi... she crashed and they're trying to revive her." Mia said while crying.

"Mia please be with Maloi I'm on my way back there okay?" Mikhs said.

"Sir can we go faster please? I am trying to catch a flight." Pag mamadali ni Mikhs sa driver.
