CHAPTER 20

The day has finally arrived, they all woke up very early to prepare for their big day. All of them are now at school's auditorium and preparing for their march.

"Napaka gwapo naman ng Mikhael Lim na yan!" JR said as he teases his friend.

"JR ang ingay mo manahimik ka nga." Staku said.

"Ikaw ang ganda ganda mo ngayon wag ka muna mag sungit." JR said.

"Wow is that a compliment or sarcasm?" Staku said.

"Mikhs!" Lester shouted as he saw his son from the crowd.

"Dad!" Mikhs called back. The two of them gave each other a quick hug before Mikhs introduces his friends.

"Dad I want you to meet my friends, kilala mo naman siguro sila JR diba but this is Aiah, Maloi, and Staku." Mikhs said as he pointed to his friends one by one.

"Hello tito nice to meet you po!" the girls greeted in unison.

"Hello girls nice to meet you din." Lester said then smiled.

"Dad don't forget our lakad later ha. I'll bring Maloi with us." Mikhs said.

"h-HUH? Ako?" takang tanong ni Maloi.

"Yes. I told you last night diba?" Mikhs said.

"Bakit kasama ako?" Maloi said while still in shock.

"Kasi kasama ka." Mikhs said.

"Naks date with future in law agad." Sean said at nakaramdam naman ito ng siko sa kanyang sikmura.

It was Maloi who hit him in the stomach pero patago.

"Alright, I'll see you later." Lester said before leaving.

A moment after the announcer already announced that the ceremony will start. Isa isa na silang pumila and everything feels surreal habang nag mamartsa sila papasok ng auditorium.

All of them can't help but to feel proud for themselves for surviving. All of the struggles, downfall, and tears came to an end as they formally enter the new chapter of their lives.

"Ladies and gentlemen the graduates..." the speaker said.

"Apuli, Gian Gael..." the speaker said. Gian walked in stage proudly upon receiving his diploma.

"Cataucan, Sean" Sean walked and let out his proud cute smile in the crowd.

"Arceta, Maraiah with Latin Honors..." the speaker said and the crowd cheered at ang pinaka maingay dito ay ang mga kaibigan nila.

"Sevilleja, Staku Audrey..." Staku walked in and ramped like a model on stage.

"Ricalde, Mary Loi with Latin Honors..." Loi walked on stage at nag flying kiss pa ito sa crowd.

"Robles, JR..." JR walked on stage and let out his signature smile.

"Vergara, Cole with special recognition in Athletics..." Cole received his medal and diploma and bowed to the crowd.

"and now for the highest recognition, receiving the medallion of legacy. Let's all hear from the Captain of Titan's basketball team and the highest academic honor. Mikhael Matteo Javier Lim." The announcer said, Mikhs walked on stage and received his medal and diploma before preparing himself for a speech.

"Good morning, everyone, to the faculty members, and to proud parents of the graduates. To the marks the end of our student life but the start of our real life. I don't have much a lot to say, I actually stood here to thank these beautiful people that stayed with me throughout the collegiate years. Those who stayed by my side through up and down. My friends, Loi, JR, Gian, Sean, Aiah, Cole, and Staku. These people gave me courage and helped me get through every obstacles. This special recognition for sports is not for me, but for the man who raised the team. My dad, Lester Xavier Lim who's very patient when it comes to the improvement of the team. This is not a good bye but a see you soon, thank you so much. This is Mikhael Matteo Javier Lim, signing off as a titan."
