CHAPTER 25

Mikhs woke up with Maloi beside him. Maloi is currently sleeping peacefully, he just let Maloi sleep dahil alam niyang pagod pa ito. He kissed Maloi's forehead before stepping out of the bed.

He wears his hoodie and socks dahil tagos hanggang loob ng bahay ang lamig mula sa labas. He went downstairs only to find his Uncle Mike getting ready to leave.

"Good morning Tito, aga mo naman umalis? 6am palang oh." Mikhs said.

"Ikaw ang maaga. Ang aga mo naman ata magising may lakad ka ba?" Mike asked.

"Yes tito, I have meetings today eh." Mikhs answered.

"Oh here. Ikaw muna gumamit niyan ah." Mike said at hinagis kay Mikhs ang susi ng sasakyan.

Mikhs looked at the key and he saw that it is a key for Bentley.

"Bentley Bentayga. Bagay sayo yan. Sige na I have to leave for work now. Mag-iingat kayo ni Maloi ha. Just feel free to cook whatever you want hijo." Mike said as he leaves. He works at a Hospital in California as a doctor. Masasabi mo talagang walang tapon sa tito nito dahil despite of his age, may itsura pa rin talaga.

Mikhs went to the kitchen and looked for something to cook. He saw an egg, saugsage, and biscuit so he cooked it. Habang nag luluto ito, he felt someone hugged him from behind.

"Good morning love." The voice said. It was Maloi.

"Good morning my love" Mikhs said and he hurriedly transferred the egg to the plate para harapin si Maloi.

"How's your sleep?" Mikhs said and faced Maloi to give her a quick peck on the lips.

"It was the best sleep since I was born." Maloi said then giggled.

"Ikaw talaga hahaha. Do you want coffee or tea?" Mikhs asked.

"Coffee. Don't bother na ako na gagawa ng coffee for us." Maloi said then proceeded to coffee maker para gumawa ng kape.

Mikhs just finished cooking and he prepared the table. He checks his phone para sana sa mga emails but he saw that their group chat is blowing up.

[In the Philippines]

"Si Mikhs at si Maloi!? Mag jowa na?!" gulat na tanong ni Sean.

"Huh?!" Gulat na tanong ni JR dito.

"Ito oh! Tignan niyo post ni Maloi." Sean said. Gian and JR took a look at it and they confirmed na sila na nga.

Sa kabilang banda naman, Aiah is at her apartment alone dahil umuwi na muna si Cole sa condo nito. She was peacefully scrolling through her social media account when she saw Maloi's post.

There she saw people congratulating Mikhs and Maloi, she even saw her friends' comments on the post.

"He looks at peace." Aiah said to herself.

While looking through the post, she heard a knock coming from her door.

"Have you heard the news?" it was Staku.

"Yes. I just saw it." Aiah said.

"Oh bakit mukhang malungkot ka?" Staku said habang nakataas ang isang kilay nito.

"No! I'm happy for them of course." Aiah said.

"Maraiah Arceta, matagal na tayong mag kaibigan I know you're lying." Staku said.

"Staku, may boyfriend ako oh." Aiah said as they both sit on the couch.

"May boyfriend ka nga pero nasa California yung puso mo." Staku teasingly said.
