CHAPTER 15
After the game, the staffs invited them at the conference room for the interview. Cole and Mikhs are the once who were tasked to answer the questions.
They are now seated, cameras and microphones are everywhere.
"Question po for Captain Lim! What are your preparations po for this game and the upcoming games knowing na bago kayong teammates and it's a new roster for you guys?" One of the interviewer said.
"It was a tough start for us but I'm glad na yung mga rookies naming and sophomores are well prepared." Mikhs answered.
"For Vergara po, how was it playing for a new team?" the interviewer said.
"Nakakapanibago but at the same time exciting as I get a chance to broaden my horizons." Cole explained.
Cole and Mikhs simultaneously answered some questions hanggang sa mapunta na sa topic na pinak iiwasan ni Mikhs.
"We heard the news of Kobie's passing how are you coping up knowing na you fought along side wiith Kobie before?" the interviewer said.
"I refuse to answer that question. It's too personal I'm sorry." Mikhs said at tumayo para umalis.
"Sorry guys next time be more sensitive with the questions you'll throw." Cole said at umalis na din para sundan si Mikhs.
They are now at the locker room, naabutan ni Cole si Mikhs na nagpapalit na ng damit.
"Hey bro you okay?" Cole said while also prepping himself.
"Yeah. I just don't think na I am ready to entertain those questions pa." Mikhs said as he changed his clothes.
Afterwards that they went outside and saw their friends waiting for them outside.
"Congratulations boys!" Maloi said then gave his guy friends a hug.
"Thank you Loi! Thank you din sa pa tarp ang cute ni JR dun." Sean said then laughed.
"Boys let's eat tonight, libre naming tatlo." Aiah said while smiling.
"for a very great play and first win!" Maloi and Staku added.
They all went to their favorite restaurant, they ordered pasta and cocktail drinks. While scrolling through the social media. Sean saw a post related to Mikhs and Aiah.
"SPOTTED: BASKETBALL TEAM CAPTAIN AND HIS ALLEGED GIRL SPOTTED AT PARKING LOT AROUND TAGUIG."
"Boi is this you?" takang tanong ni Sean sa kaibigan.
"Huh? Saan?" Mikhs said. Pinakita naman ni Sean ang post sa kaibigan.
They all curiously looked at the phone, agad naman nakaramdam ng hiya si Aiah at Mikhs sa mga kasama nito.
"So the night you left? You were with Aiah?" Takang tanong ni Maloi dito.
"No. Actually we just bumped to each that night." Mikhs said.
"Yeah we just accidentally saw each other." Aiah added.
"Kayo ha baka may something na sa inyo di niyo lang sinasabi." Pang-aasar ni JR sa kaibigan.
"Hoy wala na di kami talo ni Mikhs." Aiah said.
"Ay wow ha." Mikhs said and he felt something weird na hindi niya pa nararamdaman towards someone before.
Medyo nasaktan siya sa sinabi ni Aiah and he didn't understand why.
"If di kayo talo. Ano ba tipo mo sa mga lalaki?" Cole asked.
