CHAPTER 18
It's already when Mikhs and Maloi arrived at their condo. Maloi was too drunk to stand up kaya naka piggy back ride ito kay Mikhs.
"Loi can you stand, I can't open the door." Mikhs said.
"Hmm.. no." Maloi said in her sleepy voice.
Mikhs got the keys from his pocket and opened the door habang karga pa din si Maloi. He went straight upstairs para dalhin si Loi sa kwarto nito but it was locked.
"Loi where's your keys?" Tanong ni Mikhs dito.
"I don't know baka nasa pouch ko?" Loi said while her eyes are closed.
"Where's your pouch?" Mikhs asked.
"In your car ata?" Loi said in drunk voice.
"Sorry Mikhs please don't be mad na I left it there." Maloi said in baby voice.
"No I'm not mad. Dun ka muna sa kwarto ko matulog ha." Mikhs said at pumunta na sa kwarto nito.
He placed Maloi in his bed and removed her shoes.
"Loi can you change your clothes?" Mikhs said while looking for a shirt in his closet dahil hindi siya makakuha ng damit sa kwarto ni Maloi.
"I can. Alam ko namang na a-awkward ka eh." Loi teasingly said. She's trying to got up at buti nalang nakakuha na ng damit si Mikhs.
Mikhs guided Maloi to stand up.
"Change your clothes then I'll just get your make up remover and water downstairs ha." Mikhs said.
"Thank you pogi." Maloi said then smiled.
Mikhs immediately went downstairs to grab water for Maloi and her night kit. As soon as he get back, he saw Maloi laying on the bed.
"Loi are you still awake?" Mikhs said.
"Yes I am." Loi said while her eyes are closed.
"Can you remove my make up for me please? Nahihilo talaga ako." Maloi said.
"Sit first drink this water." Mikhs said habang inaalalayan si Maloi na umupo.
He guided Maloi to drink water at agad na tinabi ang baso sa bed side table. After that he begin to remove Loi's make up gently.
"Does it hurts?" Mikhs asked while removing Maloi's make up.
"No..." Maloi replied while her eyes are closed.
"Ikaw? Does it hurts?" Maloi asked while her eyes are closed.
"Huh what do you mean?" Takang tanong ni Mikhs.
Maloi opened her eyes and looked at Mikhs's eyes, "I know you're hurt kahit di mo sabihin."
"I am not Loi what are you saying." Mikhs said then proceeded to clean Loi's face.
"Mikhs I know you like Aiah at nasasaktan ka because she's in love with someone else." Loi said.
"I don't even like her no." pag dedeny ni Mikhs sa kaibigan.
"Mikhael Matteo Lim, sa akin ka pa talaga mag sisinungaling?" Maloi said.
"By the way you look and smile at her Mikhael I know you love her. Alam ko yung pakiramdam ng ganyan. I know you're just trying to protect her and to save your friendship." Maloi added.
"How'd do you know?" Takang tanong ni Mikhs.
"Dahil ganyan ako sayo Lim." Maloi said.
"Maloi what—" Mikhs was stopped nang biglang sumingit ulit si Maloi.
