CHAPTER 31
Mikhs and his family finally landed in the Philippines. As soon as the plane landed ang unang pumasok sa isip niya is to visit Maloi in batangas.
It's already 5am in the morning when they landed in the Philippines bakas ang pagod sa mukha ng pamilya nito ngunit hindi kay Mikhael na gustong gusto bumisita kay Maloi.
His father told him and gave him the address kung saan nakatira ang mga Ricalde ngunit binawalan niya muna itong pumunta doon.
"Mikhael magpahinga ka na muna wag matigas ang ulo ha." Lester said.
"Dad can you drop me off to my condo? I want to stay there eh I need alone time." Mikhs said.
"Osige but promise me na hindi ka aalis?" Lester said.
"Promise dad." Mikhs said.
Hindi alam ng mga kaibigan ni Mikhael na naka balik na ito ng Pilipinas and he doesn't want to them to know hanggang hindi pa siya nakaka recover sa mga nangyari.
They arrived at Mikhael's condominium building in no time. Tinulungan naman ni Lester na ibaba ang mga gamit nito. Mikhs told them that he can do it on his own and they bid their good byes.
Mikhs looked at the building before entering and there he's greeted by the reception and the guards na dati na ding nag tatrabaho doon noong college pa lamang sila.
"Sir? Sir Mikhael? Kayo na ho ba yan?" masayang bati ng isa sa mga gwardiya dito.
"Nako Sir! Welcome back! Lalo kayong gumwapo ah." The guard said and Mikhs just replied with a smiled.
"Eh Sir si Ma'am Maloi po bat di niyo kasama?" takang tanong ng Guard dito.
"Huy tama na nga yan kakarating lang ni Sir dami mong tanong daig mo pa press ah." Pag pigil naman ng kasamahan nito.
"Ay sorry po hehe welcome back po ulit sir." The guard said at sumaludo na ito.
Mikhs continued his was paakyat ng unit niya and when he made it there he looked at the door and closed his eyes before opening the door with a key.
He saw his placed na well maintained, halatang nalilinis ito at naaalagaan and he suddenly remembered na pinagkatiwala niya ito kay JR.
He smiled when he saw na walang nag bago dito, kung paano nila ito iniwan ganoon pa din niya ito binalikan. He can see Maloi in every corner of his room and his tears began to fall.
He went upstairs and went to Maloi's room first, he opened it and there he saw an empty room, a bed without mattress, and a vanity mirror without things on it. He could picture the image of the room noong nandoon pa si Maloi.
After that he went back to his room, everything flashed back mula nung unang araw hanggang sa huling beses na natulog siya sa kama niya. He opened his wardrobe and there he saw some clothes that he left behind, nakabalot sa plastic ang mga ito at halatang alagang alaga.
He changed his clothes into more comfortable hoodie and gray sweatpants. He laid on his bed and stared at the ceiling. He's trying his best to fall asleep pero hindi niya magawang makatulog.
He then decided to go to Maloi's room and sat on the chair near the wall glass when suddenly he heard a noise from downstairs. Nagtaka naman ito kung sino ang taong pumasok kung kaya't dahan dahan itong lumabas ng kwarto.
Tumingin ito sa baba mula sa itaas and there he heard the vacuum opened up, he saw JR holding it.
"So you're the one taking care of my place huh?" Mikhs said.
