CHAPTER 17

"Loi aalis muna ako." Mikhs said as soon as they entered the house.

"Ha? Saan ka naman pupunta? Kakauwi lang natin oh baka gusto mong mag pahinga muna?" Takang tanong ni Maloi sa kaibigan.

"I'll just go somewhere. Pupunta ka ba sa victory party mamaya?" Mikhs asked while changing his clothes.

"Hmm... kung pupunta ka if not dito nalang tayo sa house?" Maloi asked.

"I'll just message you if I'll go. Kay JR ka nalang muna sumakay okay?" Mikhs said.

"Okay. Mag-iingat ka kung saan ka man pupunta." Maloi said.

Mikhs went closer to Loi para bumeso dito and to give it a quick hug.

"Thank you for always having my back Loi. Mahal na mahal kita." Mikhs said while hugging Maloi.

Maloi was too stunned because Mikhs never really showed his emotions to someone like that before. Maloi knows to herself that he loves Mikhs for more than just a friend but she chose to hide it dahil alam niyang mas tatagal sila bilang mag kaibigan.

"I love you too Mikhs kahit sobrang sungit mo pa." Maloi said while smiling and hugging her friend back.

"Sige na aalis na ako. I'll see you later Loi!" Mikhs said before leaving the condo.

"Kung alam mo lang kung gaano kita ka mahal Mikhael Lim." Maloi said to herself.

Mikhs is on his way to the cemetery to visit his mother and his friend Kobie. He went to Kobie's grave first para ibalita dito ang pagka panalo nila.

"Hey Kobs I'm back. Sorry ngayon lang kita ulit nabisita masyadong naging tutok sa training eh." Mikhs said while lighting up the candle to his friend's grave.

"We just won our final championship for the school and I know you guided us so thank you so much pare." Mikhs said at naluluha na ito.

"I am not used to giving you flowers pero this is for you." Mikhs said and then placed the flowers on his friend's tomb.

"By the way pre, before I go I just want to tell you that the pro teams are asking me if I want to play with them. Can you give me a sign if I'll pursue it or not?" Mikhs said.

"I miss you so much bro. I'll see you again soon." Mikhs said then smiled before leaving.

He is alone in the cemetery, the only one visiting his loved ones. After visiting Kobie he then proceed to visiting his mother's grave.

He saw that there are fresh flowers at his mom's grave and a lit candle. Nagtaka naman si Mikhs kung kanino galing iyon dahil he's the only person visiting his mom eversince.

He looked around trying to find someone but he found nothing.

"Mukhang may manliligaw ka mommy ah." Mikhs jokingly said while trying to fix the flowers that was left there and the flowers that he bought.

"Tignan mo oh ang ganda ng bulaklak na binigay sayo ang bango bango pa." Mikhs said.

"Ma, I won my final game today and for the very first time dad told me that he is proud of me. I didn't respond anything because I don't know what to react but somehow it made me feel na he's my father." Mikhs said at naiiyak nanaman ito.

"Miss na miss na kita mommy. I wish I can tell everything to you right now. How I wish you're still alive edi sana kasama kita mag celebrate." Mikhs said while looking at his mom's stone.
