Author's POV:-
Ruhanika turned to admire a particularly exquisite floral arrangement, but her gaze inadvertently met His.
He stood out not just because he was the host, but due to his commanding presence and charismatic demeanor.
Tall and broad-shouldered, with a strikingly handsome face framed by neatly cropped hair, Devaansh exuded an aura of confidence and charm. He was dressed in a classic black tuxedo, perfectly tailored to accentuate his athletic build.
It was an electrifying moment, charged with an intensity that neither of them had anticipated. Their eyes locked, and for a heartbeat, the world around them faded into oblivion. The chatter of guests, the clinking of glasses, the melody of the live band-all seemed to dissolve into a profound silence, leaving just the two of them in a bubble of suspended time.
Devaansh felt his breath catch in his throat as he looked into Ruhanika's eyes. They were not just beautiful; they were a universe into themselves, filled with stories, dreams, and a hint of mystery.
Devaansh's eyes were deep, almost hypnotic, with a warmth that belied his strong, composed exterior. There was a sincerity in his gaze, a quiet strength that resonated with her on a profound level. She felt a flutter in her heart, a mix of excitement and trepidation, as if standing on the brink of something monumental.
As the spell of the moment began to lift, Devaansh felt a smile tug at the corners of his lips. He took a step forward, closing the distance between them with measured grace. Ruhanika, still holding his gaze, felt her pulse quicken but remained rooted to the spot, her mind a whirlwind of thoughts and emotions.
"Hi," Devaansh said, his voice steady yet tinged with an unmistakable warmth.
"How are you feeling after coming to your in-laws house, my half wifey?" his tone suddenly changed into teasing.
Ruhanika's lips curved into a smirk.
"It's a pleasure to finally come to my in-laws house, my half HUSBAND." She also played along with him with greeted teeth.
Devaansh looked at her in amusement and asked.
"What should I call you Ayaana Or Ruhanika?" Hearing that name she felt a little embarrassed.
"You better call me Ruhanika Or else-"
"Or else what wifey." He asked with a smirk and stepped closer but before she could say or react anything Anshuman came there.
After the initial pleasantries, prerna suggested.
"Bhabhi, why don't we introduce our children properly? They've met briefly before, but I think it would be nice for them to know each other better." Meera agreed wholeheartedly.
