The first light of dawn gently illuminated the world outside, casting a serene glow over the city. Inside the cozy room the atmosphere was imbued with an almost palpable sense of change.

The previous night had marked a turning point in their lives, a moment when their long-buried emotions had surfaced, leading to a heartfelt confession of their feelings.

Devaansh found himself lying awake, staring at the ceiling. His thoughts were a whirl of the night's revelations.

The air was still thick with the warmth of their intimate conversation, and he replayed every word, every gesture, with a mix of awe and disbelief.

The confession had been an emotional crescendo, one that had unfolded with a delicate intensity.

Ruhanika, in the other room, had drifted into a restless slumber, her dreams likely reflecting the emotional turbulence of the night. The vulnerability she had exposed was both liberating and daunting.

Her heart raced as she relived the moment Devaansh had taken her hands in his, the raw sincerity in his eyes, and the words that had forever altered the course of their relationship.

As morning dawned, the farmhouse seemed to echo with a soft, hopeful silence. The sun's rays filtered through the sheer curtains, casting a gentle light on the space.

The normally vibrant city outside appeared subdued, as if it too were paying homage to the profound change that had occurred within the apartment.

Devaansh finally rose from bed, his mind still buzzing with thoughts of Ruhanika. He moved towards the bathroom.

After freshening up he made his way to the kitchen to make something for himself as well as everyone.

That is when he felt two small hands wrapping around his waist and a head resting on his broad back. He chuckled knowing who that person was.

"What are you making?" Ruhanika asked in a sleepy voice, tightening her hold around him and packing from the side to have a look at what he was making.

"Grilled cheese sandwiches, White sauce pasta and Lasagna." Saying this he kissed her head that was still hanging to the side.

Hearing the names her eyes shone, a bright smile came on her lips and the sleep went away in a second.

Devaansh chuckled at her cuteness and was about to pack her lips but before his lips could meet hers, Ruhanika's hand shot up instinctively, pressing her palm against his lips.

Devaansh froze for a second, taken aback by her playful, yet honest, rejection. A chuckle escaped him, deep and rich, and it filled the kitchen with warmth.

The corners of Ruhanika's lips lifted into a soft smile as she let her hand drop, feeling both shy and amused at her spontaneous reaction.

"What happened?" He asked and turned around.

"I just woke up, let me brush first." She said sheepishly, looking away as her cheeks flushed.

But Devaansh wasn't deterred. His gaze never wavered, filled with affection and a hunger that couldn't be quelled by such a small inconvenience. He lowered his head to her ear and whispered.
