The night sky was a deep canvas of midnight blue, speckled with countless stars that shimmered like diamonds scattered across velvet.

The moon hung low, casting a soft, silvery glow over the sprawling garden at the farmhouse.

The air was thick with the scent of jasmine, and a gentle breeze whispered through the trees, making the leaves dance ever so slightly.

The setting was perfect, almost too perfect, and that only made my heart race faster.

The farmhouse was a serene escape from the chaos, surrounded by lush greenery and filled with the sounds of nature.

It was the kind of place where time seemed to slow down, allowing you to breathe deeply and live in the moment. And tonight, I was living in the moment, every nerve in my body tingling with anticipation.

The garden was expansive, with winding paths that led to hidden corners filled with blooming flowers and ancient trees.

The sound of footsteps on the gravel path pulled me from my thoughts, and I looked up to see Ruhanika approaching.

She looked radiant, the moonlight catching in her hair and making her eyes shine even brighter.

There was a hint of curiosity in her gaze, mixed with something else I couldn't quite place. She stopped a few steps away from me, her lips curving into a soft smile.

"What are you doing here at this time?" She asked, her voice a gentle murmur that seemed to blend with the rustling of the leaves.

"Umm...nind nahi aa rahi thi." I nodded, suddenly aware of how dry my mouth had become.

She tilted her head slightly, studying me with those sharp, perceptive eyes.

"You're nervous, what's on your mind?" She observed, her smile growing a little wider.

I took a deep breath, trying to steady the pounding in my chest. This was it. There was no turning back now.

"You didn't say anything earlier like everyone did?" I said this to lighten the atmosphere that is growing awkward for me.

My focus was solely on her, waiting, hoping for some sign of what she was thinking.

Ruhanika, too, seemed lost in her own thoughts, her eyes still locked onto mine. There was a softness in her gaze, a warmth that hadn't been there before.

She stepped forward, closing the distance between us, her expression unreadable. For a moment, neither of us spoke, the weight of the moment settling between us.

Finally, she broke the silence.

"That was beautiful," She said softly, her voice barely above a whisper. There was a sincerity in her tone that made my heart skip a beat.

"I never knew you could sing like that." I smiled, a small, almost shy smile that was a stark contrast to the confidence I had displayed just moments ago.

"I didn't either," I admitted, my voice still tinged with the emotion of the song.

"But I guess... I had the right inspiration." Ruhanika's smile widened, and for a moment, it was as if the world outside ceased to exist.

My thoughts were a swirling storm, filled with doubts and hopes that fought for dominance. I had rehearsed what I wanted to say a hundred times, yet each time, the words felt inadequate.

I had loved her , quietly, patiently, but never had the courage to say it aloud. Tonight, though, I knew that silence was no longer an option.

"You seem quiet tonight, Devaansh." Ruhanika, sensing my unease, glanced up at me.
