It's morning.

Sunlight streamed through the thin curtains of the cozy guest room, casting a warm glow on the walls. She stretched and yawned, her mind still lingering in dreams.

The cool air of the morning kissed her skin as she nestled back into the pillows, the soft hum of morning chatter and the aroma of fresh coffee drifting in from the kitchen.

Remembering last night's events a slight smile came across her face.

How he was roaming shirtless in front of her, How he held her and pulled her to himself and hugged her suddenly, how she is more than comfortable with him,

Thinking all this she sat up, but remembered how he used to lick her face to woke her up in the mornings, waits for her till she got ready, and then running behind her till dining room, when she comes back from her work he used to great her while jumping and wiggling his tail, she remember all this and her happy mood instantly became sad.

With a sad face she slipped out of the bed, after bathing she tiptoed down the hallway, greeted by the two old couples.

"Good morning dadu's and Dadi's." She greeted back with a small smile and asked about her mother.

After hearing the answer she went to the kitchen with a sad face.

"Good morning mumma." Saying this in a sad tone she wrapped her hands around her stomach feeling at peace she put her face on her back and tilted her head to the side but her eyes widened when she saw her mother standing at a little distance and was looking at her with a smile.

She came out of the shock when she felt tapping on her cheeks.

"Good morning baccha." prerna said, tapping her cheeks with a wide smile.

"A...aunty aap?" she said and backed off abruptly from the hug.

"Kya hua? I'm like your mother, no need to be embarrassed." She chuckled looking at her red face.

"Mummaaa!" Whining like a kid she went to her mother and hugged her while hiding her face in her mother's neck.

Patting her back Meera and Prerna laughed at her cute little act, all the while Devaansh was looking all standing at the doorstep.

A smile played on his lips, his heart swelling with happiness at the sight of her mingling with his mother and his mother treating her like her own daughter.

As they all settled into the living room after breakfast , Arush came after his morning walk, playing with their new puppy.

Ruhanika's heart gave a painful twinge at the sight, from the morning she was missing him and now this but she pushed it aside, determined to enjoy her time with Samriddhi and her family.

"Where did you get your puppy from?" Ruhanika asked, trying to keep her voice steady.

The little dog reminded her so much of Coco, her puppy, though she knew it couldn't be him.

"Oh, that's a story!" Riddhima laughed.

"Devaansh bhai brought him home from Rajasthan a couple of months ago. He was on a business trip there and found this little guy wandering around near his hotel. He couldn't leave him behind, so he brought him back to Mumbai." Ruhanika's breath caught in her throat.
