Mormerie of Gloomy Horde

CHAPTER 1: THE INTRUDER

Mormerie's POV

it was midnight and also filled with cold air, I woke up randomly in my stripped gown and fell asleep right on the old couch of my room.

The window was widely opened and must have been blown by the wind. I felt like someone out there was trying to call me, or did I just have enough fairy tales?

someone might be calling my attention.

I looked through the window to see if there was a sign of people. The first thing I saw was the moonshine's reflection on the sea, and nothing else.

But when I looked on the upper right of the nation's wall, I saw a torch light, so bright.

I was driven by my curiosity and wanna know what was going on there, I had never seen such a bright light in this whole kingdom, and it must be intruders from the other nation.

I didn't wanna tell Mother about this because I knew her rage would kill all the excitement, so I got my cape and slowly walked down the stairs felt like my life depended on each step I was making.

After the stairs, I ran quickly to the main door, but there were guards everywhere in that spot, so I took the back door, when suddenly I knocked out a vase bigger than my whole body, and that caught the guard's attention.

"Who's in there??"

I panicked when I heard the guard's shout and coming towards my way.

The backdoor was locked and I had no choice but to go by the window escape, it was so high down and I was afraid to jump down, but as the guard approached my way, I had no choice but to jump. This was scary but facing your fear of heights will be great.

I keep on feeding myself with braveness and I swear I can't jump 4x higher than my body.

There were bushes on my landing but still didn't know if I could jump or not, but I had to try at least.

I had a lot of thoughts in my mind when suddenly someone pushed me and I fell.

Who pushed me? 

All I had now was anger and didn't mind my fall down and it hurt. 

It was a..... BOY!

He ran away wearing a scarlet cape, it was so clear in my vision because the moonshine was so bright, and I was so pissed off that I kicked off the wall and accidentally hurt my toe.

Back to the main goal, the torchlight was still on that wall, and I low-key smiled that I successfully got out, and ran my way to that wall, kilometers away from the castle.

When I reached the wall and saw the so-called torch light.

It wasn't a torch light.

It was a Yellow-glowing gem, it was half, and I wanna get closer to it, not until I heard a footstep coming this way.

I hid myself in the barrels and watched who was that.

And it was shocking to see a color green cape with symbols in it, and it had a strange aura.

I was hit by a panic attack.

It was from the other kingdom, an intruder, an ENEMY.

the human spoke and said "I need to get out of here but the magic won't work in this kingdom"

She was a woman.

I watched her circling her hands, she must be trying to create a portal but the wall was covered with magic protection, so using magic doesn't work in this area.
