CHAPTER 21: FINGER PRINTS

Someone's POV

Vardona was hopeless as nothing could open the door, she sat right at the door and stared at the room with her mind blank. She blamed herself for not protecting the Claymore Sword and failing Juno, She was preparing for this time only to be a failure in protecting it.

After a few minutes, she stands up and goes near the Rectangle Glass Box, she notices that there are fingerprints on it, due to light, it can be seen clearly. Only Margot had touched the Rectangle Glass Box and Vardona already thought of that when she saw the fingerprints.

Vardona had gloves in her hands.

She matches her fingers to the fingerprint of Margot, and she rests her fingers on it for a minute.

Margot's fingerprints were really big compared to Vardona's fingers, which means Margot's hands are really big because her fingerprints were big.

Then, an idea came to Vardona's head, she had hopes for it, but still had doubts that it would work.

She thought of melting the door with a spell, a spell that would melt the door.

She handled the door knob as it was the first she thought she would melt first.

Then suddenly, the door instantly unlocked.

She was confused cuz her spell had not started yet but the door suddenly unlocked on its own.

She gets out of the room quickly wondering what just happened.

(Margot used a special spell to the door to lock, and can only be unlocked using her fingerprints, she thought Vardona couldn't escape the room, but she left her fingerprint on the Rectangle Glass Box.)

The two guards were outside guarding, they saw Vardona (The real one).

"Your Highness, you just got out of the tower an hour ago right?" said the guards.

"I did not, I was in the room stuck because the thief locked me inside," said Vardona.

"The thief escaped!" said the guards.

"No, the Claymore Sword is in her hands, we need to find her!"

All the guards were called, it was a hunt mission.

Vardona told all the guards to search for the thief all over the whole nation, but none of them saw the real identity of Margot cuz she was in Vardona's body all the time when she interacted with the guards.

It was useless to send all the guards for hunting when they didn't know Margot's face.

Instead of the hunt, Vardona told the guards to lock the wall gates and no one should leave the nation, she sent all the guards to the walls scattered all over the nation.

Vardona was mad, and couldn't believe they were tricked. Demon-blooded one was so strong and CLEVER.

Vardona used another spell to locate Margot, it was a weak one but it would probably find Margot's location.

The spell could see the invisible footsteps marked on the ground and make them visible to the naked eye, specifically Margot's footsteps.

The footsteps appeared on the ground, but only Vardona could see them, she followed the footsteps and where it was heading.

Time to hunt the thief and get back the Claymore Sword for where it belongs.
