Someone's POV

Vardona asked Elona to look around. They've become speechless, and confused.

The room was filled with white doors, except a rare gold one.

"That's strange, I've been entering that door a few times," said Elona.

"Same, I've seen that door everywhere, like every door has that Gold door," said Vardona.

They strolled to the gold door, their footsteps and breathing were the only noise in the room. Smells like vanilla and lemon here. This room was the most peaceful ever, they wondered what was inside the gold door, but at the same time they were afraid to enter, every room was so random and you could not predict what's gonna happen.

They also think about what's inside each of the white doors, and why it was all white. and they never change colors or go in a rage or something, the door is calm, not like the other room's door, they were aggressive.

Suddenly, one of the white doors opened at the very far left, it made a creaking sound. It was Margot! She looks so haunting and she's scarier than ever. That got Vardona and Elona's attention because the room was so quiet.

"It's Margot over there!" said Elona with a calm voice and she was pointing to Margot.

"It's now or never!" said Vardona. She grabbed Elona's hand. They entered the Gold door without even a doubt because they had no choice, Margot was in the room.

Vardona didn't notice that one of the pieces of The Yellow-glowing gem fell off in her hand while she was grabbing Elona to quickly enter the Gold door. It was weird that the piece never made any sound when it fell down the bronze floor.

**--**

They closed the gold door after entering.

"My hand hurt," said Elona because Vardona was holding her hand so tight. Vardona released Elona's hand. "Where are we?" Elona spoke again.

"No... This is...uhhh" Vardona's knees become weak after recognizing the place where they are.

"Do you know this place?" said Elona.

"Let's go back to the gold door," said Vardona.

The Gold door suddenly disappeared.

"No, we shouldn't have closed the gold door, We will be stuck in this place for a while," said Vardona who spoke too softly.

They went into THE EXPANDING BRIDGE.

Vardona was once here, and she was stuck for hours on the expanding bridge. She said she fell asleep and then when she woke up, she was in the house of a Swordsmith. Vardona never mentioned that the Swordsmith's door was also changing colors, but right after she saw that Margot's doors were also changing, she thought it was connected to that door because they have the same door handle and door style.

Vardona met a strange swordsmith named Scarlotte.

She told Elona the summary of the story, and slowly it made sense, that maybe it was connected somehow. and she hadn't asked Scarlotte about the door changing colors, so she was stuck clueless. Scarlotte sent Vardona back into The Portal Guards Nation, by using the color-changing the door. How strange the door was. Vardona was overthinking maybe Scarlotte knew Margot somehow?

Vardona said that after Scarlotte asked where she was from, Scarlotte started acting so differently, and sent her back to the nation after a minute.

That made Vardona overthink a lot, cuz why does Scarlotte seem to look afraid after hearing Vardona was from The Portal Guards Nation?

Vardona is having a deep thinking and connecting all the possible answers. Does Scarlotte know Margot somehow? and why do they have the same door?

Elona was calming Vardona, she laid down The Claymore Sword and rubbed Vardona's back to cheer her up, because it looked like Vardona wasn't calm at all, and she was silent.

Elona finally noticed Vardona was only carrying one piece of The Yellow-glowing gem. She quickly asked Vardona in a high voice; "Where's the other piece of The Yellow-glowing gem?"

Vardona looked in her hand, her eyes widened, and she wondered where it went.

"I don't know, I thought I was carrying two pieces of the gem," said Vardona while looking at the gem and looking back to Elona.

"No! you left the other half of The Yellow-glowing gem in that room where there's Margot's presence" said Elona.

"I swear I never heard anything that fell off in my hand, you too never heard of it right?" said Vardona while her hands were shaking.

"We need to go back there"

"The gold door wasn't here anymore, we were too far from the nation"

"We should leave this place now!"

"But I don't know how to leave this place, you know that this bridge is infinite?"

"I can see the end of the bridge there" Elona pointed at the end of the bridge.

"Try running in that end"

Elona started running to the end of the bridge. The bridge started expanding. The end of the bridge keeps on expanding away from Elona, but she is still running towards the end.

After a few minutes, she was tired of running, she understood what Vardona was trying to say. Elona looked at her back and noticed that Vardona was gone. "Did I run too far from her?"

Elona goes back. After running a few minutes back to Vardona, there was no sign of Vardona near her.

She shouted "Vardona where are you!?" but there was no response from Vardona.

**--**

It was nighttime, the place became dark. Elona was still finding Vardona. She was lost, the bridge was large. But she did not give up running and running to find Vardona, even though her lungs were suffering from breathing in and out, and her knees were tired.

She shouldn't get away from Vardona.

**--**

When Vardona noticed that Elona was gone from her sight, she started worrying. There's no sign of Elona near her. Elona left The Claymore Sword at Vardona, she grabbed it and started walking and shouting "Elona where are you!?" but there was no response.

The Claymore Sword was too heavy, it was in her right hand while the one piece of The Yellow-glowing gem was in her left hand.

Vardona was overthinking that she didn't notice Elona went away from her and never expected that Elona would be gone from her sight because she thought Elona would just test if the bridge was really expanding and then go back, she never expected that Elona would go far from her.

The two of them were finding each other.
