CHAPTER 27: SCREAM YOUR LUNGS OUT

Someone's POV

"Elona!? Where are you!?" said Vardona screaming through her lungs, tired eyes, and feet.

After a while, Vardona gave up and sat herself. It rained so hard. There's no shelter nearby. Due to tiredness, Vardona closes her eyes. She fell asleep under the hard rain.

The piece of The Yellow-glowing gem glows so brightly for seconds.

Elona also gave up running and shouting to find Vardona. There's no rain in her area. Strange.

Elona sat and began to close her eyes. She heard birds chirping, and when she opened her eyes, it was daytime. It was nighttime when she closed her eyes. She was confused.

She closed her eyes and then opened them, it suddenly became nighttime. She did it again and again, and every time she closed and opened her eyes, it changed. Every blink she was confused about it, It's like every blink, it's a day passed by.

After how many blinks, the time stopped at night. When she blinked again, it never changed time. Suddenly, it rained hard. She continued running, but there was no sign of shelter nearby. She forgot she was at the bridge because of how large the bridge was.

Elona went to the edge of the bridge to see below, she realized that the bridge was way too high above and there was no way she would jump down, it would cause her death. She also wants to live long, so she didn't think of doing it even though she had no choice.

A thundering roar began to appear, Elona was so terrified that she stopped walking sat down, and covered her ears.

"Maybe I will be stuck at this bridge huh?" said Elona so softly.

Vardona woke up lying on the floor. She was back at Margot's house. She looks confused.

Vardona recognized it was Margot's house because of the doors in her front.

She started looking for the piece of The Yellow-glowing gem and The Claymore Sword, she was surprised that it was still by her side, and maybe Margot didn't know Vardona was at her house returned. She questioned herself why she was returned to the house and why she wasn't wet when it rained hard a while ago.

"Wait, where's Elona" Vardona stood up and began to explore the room. There were thousands of white doors, and it was strange that she did not find a gold door.

Suddenly, a white door opened on her left. She couldn't see anything inside, but a pitch-black room. Vardona entered the room without thinking what would happen.

As she was inside the room, the white door closed. The light started to appeal. She was in an empty room, a very small room. Strange.

A black liquid appeared at the ceiling, leaking from a hole. Vardona goes near to it and touches the black liquid with one of her fingers.

The black liquid in her finger spread in her finger and reached her palm, then the pulse and the arm.

Vardona dropped The Yellow-glowing gem and The Claymore Sword to rinse off the black liquid.

She wiped the black liquid using her other hand, but instead of rinsing it off, it started spreading both of her hands until it reached her neck. She was suffocated.

She used a spell, but none of it worked.

A drop of black liquid reaches the piece of The Yellow-glowing gem, and it starts to spread out. Vardona kicked The Claymore Sword away so it would not reach the black liquid.
