CHAPTER 32: END OF AN ERA?

Someone's POV

The day Jokna and Mary were executed. Sad, Jokna's father wasn't guilty.

As for the prize money, Yno was tricked by the head, there isn't 200 Silver as a prize. Yno was killed that day when Jokna was caught by the guards, as the guards ordered. He was stabbed so many times by guards, and Jokna didn't know that his father was killed.

The head was sitting. In front of him, there's Jokna and Mary.

Jokna didn't know that Mary exposed him by telling the head that he was the one who wrote the letter.

"Swing the axe!" said the head with fierce.

The executioner killed Mary first. She was beheaded while she was crying.

The blood splattered on Jokna's face. Beside him was Mary.

"You're next," said the executioner to Jokna.

Jokna felt something in his heart, and the axe triggered him. His lungs were full, he breathed them out after hearing the blade so sharp. Because of that, Jokna runs away from being executed.

The guards chased him, he was good at dodging all of them. He grabbed one of the swords from the bench where guards put their swords. He started fighting. The guards carry shields, Jokna is weak but his fighting spirit is huge. For his life, To save his life, and To avoid being executed.

He did not know about fighting but he kept on swinging the sword at the guards.

The head was triggered and he requested all the guards to keep focus on Jokna and to make sure he would be dead.

"Kill him!"  the head shouted.

Jokna was 5'3 in height, he could dodge so easily to the guards.

Jokna set the goal to target lock the head. He is coming nearer and nearer to the head, it is easy for him because there are no guards beside the head. But at the same time, he was dealing with all of the guards. It was strange that none of the well-trained guards were able to strike Jokna.

The head saw Jokna was making eye contact with him, he knew he was Jokna's target by just judging his look to him.

Jokna had a chance to block the guards by cutting the rope that held all of the barrels. All of the barrels blocked the guards which made them move slowly to catch Jokna.

Jokna draws a sword to the head.

The head was weaker than he thought. Just because he's fierce doesn't mean he has skills in fighting.

Jokna hit the head's arm and that made him scared of Jokna. The guards came near them, but Jokna decapitated the head of The Head before the guards could reach them.

The head falls and it's like he was sad, his eyes say all of it.

After the head was beheaded, Jokna smiled and it was like a success, Finally!

He didn't care about the guards after that, and he was just laughing while looking at the head being headless. He never moved his body at all.

The guard stabbed Jokna in the chest, and that made her vomit blood. He was still smiling after all of that.

Jokna's main goal was to end the era of King Enoch, Or should we say Your Highness because he didn't like to be called a king.

The death of Jokna and the head spread throughout the whole nation.

But they were questioning if they get freedom since the head was dead.

They were traumatized that after the head's death, they still used the term Nation and not Kingdom.

The news spread out not just in Gloomy Horde, but also to the other nation.

The term Nation became universal, and Kingdom was only an option.
