CHAPTER 19: LET THE PLAN BEGIN!

Someone's POV

11:40 PM and it's almost 12 AM, Margot's been waiting for midnight to come.

She can't wait for midnight, just like Cinderella but on the opposite side; she has to go home at midnight, but Margot must go for the plan at midnight.

It's like everything depends on it, Margot feels all the shiver as the time is ticking, all mixed emotions while sipping a ginger tea.

"One more minute left!" said Margot while looking at the clock for over an hour now.

Why can't she go now? Like 11 PM or something, why does she want to pursue midnight?

"TING! TING! TING!" it's the midnight bell!

She smiled and then rushed out of the house, she was dressed all black and the outside was cold and windy. All the people were asleep, except the guards. The whole area was very quiet, only the wind and footsteps were making sounds.

Margot was slowly walking in silence.

Not far from her house...

Suddenly, she heard footsteps... coming from her front, and wearing a cape. Margot rushed to the barrels to hide herself.

"Does she see me?" said Margot.

The lady in the cape is coming near Margot, slowly walking.

Margot wants to see the face, so she peeps at it.

She was shocked that it was ELONA.

"Huh, why is Elona here? And at midnight?" said Margot.

Margot kept her eye on Elona, and she was coming to her doorstep.

Elona knocked at Margot's door. And she's been knocking nonstop for 20 minutes straight, looks like something is important. Margot was still hiding in the barrels and waiting for Elona to go away at her house, but it looked like Elona didn't have any plans to stop knocking at her door.

Margot hadn't heard any knocking after a minute, but Elona was sitting in front of her door.

"What does Elona want?" said Margot.

Margot was so pissed off, and it was almost 1 AM and she still haven't reached the castle.

Margot turned herself into a cat and got out on the barrels.

Elona saw the cat, and it was black.

"I haven't seen any cats around here, but now I have" said Elona.

Margot successfully got out where Elona was.

Margot thought Elona wouldn't come back, and then she remembered that Elona said she would visit her sometimes, and that made Margot extra careful when going outside because Elona might ask about the Yellow Glowing Gem.

Margot has reached the castle, she goes to the back of the castle cuz it's safer and thought the back doors were open, but the door was all closed.

The castle's walls were very high so she thought of a way to go around them.

Margot was afraid of heights so there was no way she would climb it. But she ran out of ideas since she couldn't summon a portal or teleportation spell.

She might just have to climb it cuz she had no choice but to face her fears. She cast a spell that could climb easily, Her whole body became sticky.

She climbs the castle's wall without looking down. It was so easy to climb said Margot in her mind.
