Someone's POV

That midnight, Mormerie was left confused. Vardona left the Gloomy Horde nation with her mindset "Just to get the other piece of The Yellow-glowing gem to Margot and then leave". While Margot was still in the nation raging because the Yellow-glowing gem had been taken from her, it was a big mistake to set a trap for Vardona and interact with the girl named Mormerie.

The kingdom's wall became quiet after a few minutes, it was like Margot suddenly disappeared because if she didn't, then the nation should've been covered with her screaming, and worst, she would've destroyed the nation just because the gem wasn't by her side anymore.

Mormerie was standing there in the cold air, the wound in her leg was hurting. She remembered what Vardona said to her; "You're trapped, the demon can still locate where you are now, that wound was her spell".

If the demon (Margot) had located Mormerie because of her wound, then she should've attacked or found Mormerie quickly after The Yellow-glowing gem was stolen from her. It was proof that Margot might have left the nation after that, or she had seen Vardona leaving the nation using her vision.

Magot's attention was all for Vardona. The Yellow-glowing gem was her goal.

"It doesn't mean that the spell was removed on your wound, you need to heal it by going to a higher rank one, they know how to deal with that"

Mormerie still remembered that line from Vardona a while ago. The only problem was that Mormerie had no idea where to find a higher-rank one, and she had no idea what that was. Vardona must have assumed that Mormerie knew that.

"Wait I didn't tell Vardona my name," said Mormerie while walking back to the castle.

Mormerie was afraid to tell her mom about what had happened, She knew her mom was aggressive and always overprotective, not only around Mormerie but also around the whole nation.

Mormerie's mom was The Head of The Gloomy Horde nation. But her mom doesn't know where they got the name Gloomy Horde as the nation's name.

**--**

It was argued a long time ago that the nation was considered to be called a kingdom because there were rulers, But it was against by the former Head named Enoch that it shouldn't be called a kingdom and stick with the nation. Even though Kingdom and Nation were the same, it wasn't approved by the head to call it a kingdom. Gloomy Horde Nation was named after the nation.

After it was declared to be called a nation and not a kingdom, whoever calls it a kingdom or against the Head's order shall beheaded. All of the people gossip about it. What kind of Head doesn't want to be called a king?

Many people were killed because they were against it, and most of them were priests. Enoch was merciless in that era, and he wasn't afraid of anything. Enoch teaches people to praise him and be afraid of him. It was depressing and dark for the people of Gloomy Horde to live under the rule of Enoch.

A boy named Jokna, A normal folk of the nation, wrote a letter that talked about the reality of King Enoch's ruling, and how brutal his ruling was.

Jokna was only 14 years old when he realized what was happening and decided to take action. He need to change everything, but at his young age why would people believe at a young boy they assumed he knew nothing? It was an insult for Jokna. People seemed to not care about all the brutal things happening around, maybe because they were afraid of death, or the king.

Jokna wrote that letter. The first person who saw the letter was his father, a head's tailor.

His father didn't believe he would change the kingdom and scolded Jokna for betraying the head's order. Jokna thought his father would help him, but his expectations were too high. He was disappointed, but he understood that his father was just afraid to be killed by the so-called king. Jokna believed that somehow his father approved of it but was too afraid to be on his side.

He made thousands of copies of the letter and posted it all around the houses, except near the castle. He did it at midnight. And still wondering until now where he got all of the papers; That story was still unknown until the present time.

When people were awake, they were confused to see thousands of letters posted all around their houses, each house had many copies of it. People were exposed. They never knew who was Jokna Hearne. Most of the people ignored the letter because they were too afraid to speak up. The people were mostly silent about the king's way of ruling. Afraid of death.

One of the people knew who was Jokna Hearne, It was Mary, Sister of Jokna's father.

But Mary didn't like Jokna, so she thought of sending the letter to the king, and maybe the king will reward her and spare her life soon when she make a mistake. What an expectation Mary has.

Mary rushed to the castle to see the king, she had a big smile. As she entered the gate, the guard asked her why she wanted to see the king. Mary said it was personal. The guards never let her enter the gate of the castle. Mary was pissed off.

When the guards weren't looking at Mary because she was at the side, Mary thought of passing them by running.

Mary ran towards the guards when they weren't looking. Mary passes the guards.

"Hey!" the guards shouted and chased Mary.

Mary was fast and the big door of the castle was very wide and no guards there.

It was Mary's first time to see the castle inside, after 38 years of her life, she had never seen such beauty of the castle. There were fine tables and chairs, Carpets, Vases, Chandeliers, Paintings, Tiles, Gold walls and more. As she was running with the letter, she saw a room. The guards lose track of Mary, but they keep finding her. Mary heard that the guards were far away because of their voices. The castle was too big.

Mary entered the room which caught her attention. It wasn't locked, when she saw the room, the door was wide open. Her footsteps became quiet, and her hands were sweating.

She was shocked to see what was inside the room, it made her jaws drop.
