Someone's POV

Before the gloomy horse's first king was born, a daughter failed to rule the nation. People forgot about her just because she was a woman.

Fyodeur Madelline was her name, as beautiful as the glance of purity, as white as a snowdrop, and her eyes are wide with such dedication and commitment to step forward. She was different from the other women; she wanted to rule a nation coated by men's rules. No women dared to enter leadership due to their fear and because they were women. She was seven when the world hit her with the reality that not even once did women make their own decisions for the whole.

As she turned fourteen, she knew what she wanted, and that was to lead and change the system and be the first woman to rule a closed-minded nation. At first, she was nervous and innocent, but as she grew up, she realized deep and even better.

"I shall be the first woman to lead and free women from slavery,"  she said with fierceness, knowing it was hard.

At eighteen, she was sent to a town nearby by her father, whose house was a madhouse. "Come to fetch a letter to Mr. Martinwood with thick eyebrows and emerald eyes, long coats beneath a smelly body because he never showers at all," said her father with loudness. She jerks her head and flees her father's front. She forgot what her father said, but she's afraid to ask for it again because she knew her father very well that anger is his whole system.

She kept punching her head, "Remember what father said, you stupid brain!"  as she left the door.

"Come fetch a white horse; I requested the man keeping them at the mountainside, river two, in front of Louis' house," said her father out of the window, shouting at her as she walks away from the house. What a deep explanation that her father gave!

She doesn't know which of the houses to ask for a white horse when most of the houses have white horses. So she just walked out of town.

"I want to lead the nation, yet a simple word that my father spat—I didn't even know what he meant by it."  she cursed her head and stumped her feet so hard.

And then she stepped into a sharp thing that bled her feet.

She still continued walking.

After an hour of walking, she reaches the town. A big sign welcomed her, "Sworhan Herme."

"What a weird name for a nation,"  she said.

The people stared at her; she looked so alien in that crowd; the way she dressed was so different; even her face could tell that she's not from here.

A man approaches her; he looked so interested in Madelline. His smirk while getting closer to her was disturbing.

"What is your name, lady?"  The man grabbed her right hand, and she wasn't prepared for the touch. She was shocked that she removed her hands quickly from the man's palm.

"I am a minor, sir," she said.

"RUDE! Do you know who I am?" said the man.

The two of them caught everyone's attention.

"I do not know who you are, and you have no rights to lift a finger at me," she said.

"Oh, you think you're a man to raise such a voice in me?" the man said.

"I am a woman, and yes, I have the rights to be such a tiger in the man's world," she said.

"And who do you think you are?"
