[EP 48] Last Meeting At BCCI

The next day was the date of their flight to Australia. So BCCI just had one last meeting before the tour. Everyone had gathered early in the morning for the meeting.

The meeting was led by the team coach, Saurav Ganguly. He encouraged the team to give their best efforts.

Saurav: In this team, there is one player I am looking forward to and I'm very sure that he is competent enough to overshine all other players in this series, can anyone of you guess who he could be?

Most Voices said Virat or Rohit's name.

Saurav: *grins* No, he is more juvenile comaparing to Rohit and Virat. And the most interesting fact is that... He is the youngermost player here with the experience of leading a team in IPL and his initials are the same as mine.

Abhi, Mayank, Nish together shout 'SHUBMAN GILL', bcz of which Shub's ears turn red in surprise.

Saurav: Yes, Shubman Gill it is. *to Shub* Hoping that you'd prove my words with your play.

Shub: *stands up instantly, bows humbly to show respect* Absolutely sir! I will give my best!

Saurav: So good be in this team. All guys are brilliant and so enthusiastic, I must say. Captain, you are a lucky guy!

Rohit: *stands up* True, sir. Sab log mehnati hai. Even the management team is beyond efficient this time.

Saurav: Especially the Management Head. There she is! *looks at Nish* I was really counting on meeting you, Nishat.

Nish: *stands up, bows humbly* Thank you very much, sir. *grins* Huge fan of you, sir!

Saurav: *smiles* Same here.

Nish: *confused* ......

Saurav: Tumhari Pendrive rescue mission ke kahaniyan toh BCCI mein har taraf phel chuke hai. Thank you so much for that, warna team ko bohut taqleef ho sakti thi. Even the flight could have been delayed.

Nish: *trying to be humble* No need to thank me, sir. Thank God, ke tab road pe koi jam nahi thi.

Rohit: Btw sir, yeh meri behen hai.

Virat: Jhooth bole kauwa kate! Meri behen hai!

Hardik: Sab log side hatt jao. Meri behen hai--

KL: *flexing* Asli mein kiski behen hai yeh toh sabko pata hai. Mere baeme woh sabse jyada care karti hai.

Ishan: Haan, aur main toh ganga mein behke aaya hu!

Saurav laughs watching them playfully fight each other. Shubman was standing right beside him.

Saurav: *whispering to Shub* Actually mein kiski behen hai?

Shub: *whispers back* Bas mujhe chhodke sab ki behen hai.

Saurav: Accha, toh aisi baat hai! *grins* Mujhe lag hi raha tha.

Shub: Kya lag rha tha, sir?

Saurav: Ke tum dono ka kuch chal rha hai.

Shub: Abhi kuch chal kaha rha hai, sir. Chalwane ki koshish mein hu bas.

Saurav: Chal jaye toh batana jaroor.

The meeting ended with a cheerful environment. It was a sunny day. Everyone came out of the meeting room.

Shub: *walking beside Nish* Kiya??

Nish: Kya????

Shub: *scratching the back of his head* Google kiya?

Nish: Haan, kiya na! *mocking* Abraca dabra gilli gilli hocus pocus likhke google kiya maine, par meaning kuch aaya hi nahi!

Shub: *frowns* English mein bolna chahiye tha...

Nish: Toh bol de ab... Kya jata hai?

Shub: Nahi, ab utna majah nahi aayega...

Nish: Phir jab majah aayega tab bata diyo... *spots Ishan nearby* Woh dekh aa gaya haramkhor! Abhi tak treat bhi nahi diya!

Hearing Nish, the younger players all jumped up on Ishan together. Nish also joined them. All of them missed him so bad and so happy for his good news.

Bilal, Fahad and Amy also came to say hi to Ishan. Ishan greeted them.

Bilal: Nish hamesha tumhare bareme hi baat karti rehti hai.

Ishan: Aisa kya? *shakes hands* Nice to meet you, Bilal. Btw have we met before? Mujhe lagta tumhe kahi dekha hai maine.

Bilal: *grins* Well, I have a very familiar face.

Ishan: *smiles* I doubt that. You are too fine of a man to be a familiar face.

Bilal: *humble* Thank you.

Rohit was standing alone near the hall corridor. He called Nishat.

Nish: *walks upto him* Ji bhaiya?

Rohit: Idhar aa. Today is the national awards, no? *hugs Nish* Really proud of you bachcha!

Nish: Thanks bhaiya!

Rohit: Enjoy karna family aur colleagues ke saath. Kyu ki kal se jyada time toh hum logo ko hi dena padega.

Nish: Haan, woh toh hai hi.

Rohit: Raat ko ek party throw kiya hai maine aur Ritika ne ghar pe. Sab log aayenge, tere alava. Tujhe bohut miss karenge yaar.

Nish: Koi nahi... Mera dil hamesha wahi rahega jaha aap log ho. So majeh karna bhar bhar ke, okay?

Rohit: Theek hai, theek hai.

Nish: Aur jyada miss nahi karna mujhe.... Warna sach mein aa jana main party mein phir dekhiyo~

Rohit: Tu woh punjabi bando ke saath mat ghum re! Tereko accent bhi barabar aa gayi hai.

Before leaving all the players and managers had lunch together. They had fun chats and spent quality time with each other.

Nishat deep inside felt grateful to such nice people surrounding her who make her feel so special. She promised to herself that she would fulfill her duties as a team manager, no matter what.
