Marinette's POV:

I woke up in a dark, cold room, my body aching and my wrists bound by heavy chains. The air was damp, and a chill ran down my spine as I tried to move, only to realize that I was completely immobilized. Panic set in as memories of being captured by the villains flooded back. Where am I? Why is this happening?

The door creaked open, and a group of figures stepped into the dim light. My heart pounded in my chest as I recognized their faces. Among them were my parents—the ones who had abandoned me. What are they doing here?

"Welcome, Marinette," my father sneered, his eyes filled with a twisted satisfaction. "We've been waiting for you to wake up."

"Why are you doing this?" I whispered, my voice trembling. "What do you want from me?"

"Because," my mother replied, stepping forward with a cold smile, "we want to hurt the heroes. And what better way to do that than by hurting you?"

I stared at them in confusion. "What do you mean?"

"You've become quite important to them, haven't you?" my father said. "Aizawa, Hizashi, even those kids—especially that Bakugou brat. They all care about you. And we want to make them suffer."

Before I could react, they began their twisted torment. They beat me, burned me, ripped and cut my hair. Each act of violence was more brutal than the last. I cried and sobbed, struggling to get free, but the chains held me tight. They taunted me, and humiliated me, and slowly, I felt myself slipping back into the scared, useless girl I had once been. All my progress, all my strength, was going down the drain.

"Please, stop," I begged, tears streaming down my face. "I haven't done anything to you."

"That's where you're wrong," my father spat, landing a vicious blow to my side. "You being happy, you being cared for by those heroes, is enough reason for us."

Pain wracked my body, and my vision blurred. I felt myself teetering on the edge of consciousness, the darkness threatening to consume me. I couldn't let them win, but it felt impossible to resist any longer. I was trapped in a nightmare, with no way out.

 Bakugou's POV:

We finally got a lead on Marinette's location. After days of searching and battling villains, we tracked her to an abandoned warehouse. The heroes mobilized quickly, determined to save her.

"Move, move!" I shouted, leading the charge as we stormed the building. The air was thick with smoke and the scent of burning debris. Fires raged around us from the ongoing battles.

I fought my way through the chaos, my heart pounding with fear and anger. "Where is she?" I growled, blasting through another door. "Marinette!"

In the basement, I found her. The sight of her broke me. She was unconscious, bruised, and bound in heavy chains. Her hair, once so vibrant and beautiful, was chopped and ragged. Tears stung my eyes as I knelt beside her.

"G-Ground Zero!" one of the villains gasped, trying to stand. "You won't take her—"

I didn't let him finish. A powerful explosion sent him flying across the room. I turned back to Marinette, my heart aching at the sight of her.

"I've got you, Blue," I whispered, carefully lifting her into my arms. Her body was limp, her face pale and lifeless. "Hang on, okay? We're getting you out of here."

The battle raged around us, but all I could focus on was getting Marinette to safety. I navigated through the smoke and fire, holding her close. My classmates and the pro heroes were fighting valiantly, pushing back the villains.
