~Episode Six: Just Kid $h*t~
The realisation that you may be a bad friend isn't something anyone ever wants to experience. Unfortunately for Joey, she'd come to that realisation the minute she got into her car after leaving Spider's house on Saturday night. She'd left her phone in the car and when she checked it she found tonnes of missed calls and text messages from her friends wondering where she was.
Turns out she'd forgotten Quinni's birthday and the day out to the zoo they'd planned which meant she'd also missed Quinni's overwhelmed breakdown and the following fight she had with Darren.
So as Harper, Darren and Ca$h led Amerie and Joey into their new house which was located in a factory owned by Ca$h's nans boyfriend, Joey kept checking her phone hoping to get a text back from Quinni. She'd sent her a long sincere apology and had promised she'd make it up to her and the girl had opened the message but didn't reply.
"Oh my god, our house is sick!" Harper sang as they looked around.
"Yeah, Roger's a legend," said Ca$h.
"Shit yeah, house warming, tell everyone!"
"It's perfect."
Darren made a face as they caught a whiff of something rotten smelling, "Oh, uh, is it?" They questioned, "wait, Am, Joey, help me find where that skanky smell is coming from."
"Have you heard from Quinni?" Amerie asked them, "I sent her this long message and she replied with a seahorse emoji. I don't know what to do with that."
"Nope. She's leaving me on read," Joey told her, checking her phone once again.
"Yeah, she's been super weird lately," said Darren.
While Ca$h and Harper excitedly explore the other rooms, Joey, Amerie and Darren tried to locate the source of the smell which Darren found to be a rotting peice of meat in a drawer, "Is that Deli meat?" They grimaced as they picked it up out of the drawer, "this does not spark joy,"
The meat stuck to the window with a splat just as Harper stuck her head out of one of the bedrooms, "I have a house," she exclaimed excitedly, "I have a fucking house! I'm gonna get letters sent here and shit!"
She whooped loudly, joined by Ca$h before the two of them and Darren joined together in a group hug, bouncing on the spot while Joey and Amerie looked on with fond smiles, happy for their friends.

After sending a few more unanswered texts to Quinni, Joey decided to head over to the girl's house to apologise in person. She knocked gently on the girl's bedroom door as she pushed it open, having been let up by Quinni's dads, "Q?"
Quinni looked away from her Bird Psycho evidence wall and glanced over at Joey as she entered carrying a box wrapped in blue wrapping paper with a red bow on it.
