~Episode One:Map Bitch~
It was the first day of the new term and Joey already wanted to leave despite the fact that the day technically hadn't started yet; who the hell decided start of term should be on a Friday anyway? she wondered irritably. She stood with her friends Darren and Quinni by the school gates where most people were gathered while they waited for others to arrive. As the three were idly talking, Quinni pointed down at Joey's shoes and Joey followed her gaze to see that the zip of one her black boots had fallen down so she knelt down to zip it up again.
However, as she did so, someone suddenly shoved through the middle of Darren and Quinni which caused Joey to fall back onto her arse when Quinni accidentallly stumbled into her.
"Dusty spoke to me!" She heard the voice of Amerie Wadia, who'd been the one to shove them, squeal with excitement as she giddily walked into the quad with her friends.
Darren squealed mockingly, "Dusty spoke to me! What a pick-me bitch. Also rude!" They called after Amerie who didn't even acknowledged that she had bumped into them.
"Watch where you're fucking going!" Joey yelled before she accepted Quinni's hand when the girl offered it to help her up. "Thanks Quinni," she smiled gratefully. Once she got to her feet she adjusted her bag strap on her shoulder and dusted off the back of her black pleated skirt, hoping her tights hadn't ripped when she fell.
"Maybe she didn't see us," Quinni suggested with a shrug. Darren looped their arms through each of the girls', Quinni on their left, Joey their right and the three of them began to walk towards the school doors, "Oh, please check the material." Darren scoffed, "we are beautiful, exquisite jellyfish. Of course they saw us." Quinni giggled and rested her head against Darren's shoulder as they walked.
Suddenly a red-haired girl from their year frantically ran out into the busy quad, "Oi! There's a fully-gacked sex map in the old stairwell!" She yelled, pointing back in the direction she'd run from, where the stairwell was located, "It's called the 'Incest Map'!"
Almost everyone in the quad made their way towards the stairwell, curious to see what was written on the map.
Gossipy muttering and judgy snickering echoed off of the walls in the cramped space as everyone piled in to the stairwell which Joey couldn't ever recall being in before. As the trio shoved their way up the stairs to get a better view, Joey saw that on the wall was a large web of names connected together by various different patterned lines which linked to a key on the side to show what acts each patterned line represented.
"What in the kids helpline?" Darren muttered under their breath as their eyes scanned the map.
Joey's eyes instantly found her own name written in thick neon green letters and she tried not to cringe when Darren saw it too; there were a few lines connected to her name revealing things she'd done like fingeredJessica from year 12 and gaveAnta blowie amongst otherswhich her friends already knew about but there was one in particular that she hoped nobody wouldn't notice. Darren's hand instantly slapped over their mouth with a gasp, "No! Joey, tell me that's not true."
