~Episode Four: Legs Open Hearts Broken~

Voss handed them all bandana's to blindfold themselves with which didn't help the unease and they each got into a single-file line, holding onto the shoulders of the person in front of them as a guide while Voss lead them into the thick of the woods. As expected the others were hurling insults and complaints at Amerie as they ventured further.

Joey squeezed the shoulders of Alice who was in front of her, "Hey, I'm sorry for what Harper and Amerie said," she apologised to the girl.

"Do people really think that about me?" Alice asked and Joey would swear she heard a sniffle, "That I'm some little weirdo who's obsessed with you? Do you?"

Joey shook her head before remembering that the girl couldn't see her, "No of course not. Am just doesn't think before she speaks or acts, clearly. And Harper... it's Harper. She's an acquired taste." She tried to explain, "You know I'm pissed at them for saying that too right? You're my mate."

"Okay," Alice definitely sniffled this time, "It's okay, I don't know why I'm so bothered. I've heard worse." Joey lightly squeezed the girl's shoulders again.

After walking for a little while longer, Voss called out, "Righto, stopping!" And the line dissolved into a huddle. "No peeking. Now, who can tell me what this activity is about, huh? Anyone?" He received no response so he answered himself, "Teamwork. Now in order to get back to camp, make it out of here alive..." he chuckled darkly, "you have to work as a team."

"Are you sure about this?" Miss Obah questioned.

"Absolutely." Voss confirmed, "We've been doing it since I attended Hartley High. Now, it is a right of passage."

"We'll be fine, Miss," said Ant, unaware that he was facing the wrong way.

"Marco!" There was a shuffling of leaving as the teachers made their leave and left the students on their own in the middle of the woods.

"Polo...?" A few people confusedly called back as Voss's voice disappeared.

After a few moments of confused muttering, Joey reached up to remove her blindfold, as did the others and squinted at the sudden brightness of the sun. She wrapped the green bandana around her head and tied it at the base of her hair, wearing it as a headband and glanced around, seeing that their teachers were nowhere in sight and they were standing huddled in a random clearing.

"What are we doing?" Spider questioned.

"He left us in the bush." Zoe muttered in disbelief.
