Chapter 29. Trapped?

The slap on Jungkook's cheek didn't just sting his face; it hurt his heart deeply. The alpha panted, silent tears falling from his eyes, but his gaze darkened with disbelief. He had never imagined that Jimin would do something like this.

Meanwhile, Jimin slowly moved away and sat down on the couch, hanging his head in shame. He couldn't believe he had slapped Jungkook, the person who loved him so deeply. But Jimin had reached his breaking point. He was tired of the lies and the sinful relationship they were in. He couldn't bear to be a home-wrecker, a role he could never accept for himself. Despite his deep love for Jungkook, he knew this relationship couldn't continue.

Jimin made a firm decision. He wouldn't sneak out or run away like a coward, leaving his friends and innocent people to deal with the consequences of his actions. Instead, he would end the relationship properly, breaking up with Jungkook in a respectful way, like any normal person would do in this situation.

Suddenly, Jimin stood up, not giving Jungkook any time to recover from their last quarrel, and said, "I'm moving out, hyung. I can't be a mistress to a mafia lord. I don't deserve that kind of life." Jimin's bluntness and rudeness surprised even himself. But he knew if he didn't stand up for himself now, he might never get the chance.

Jungkook gritted his teeth and looked up at Jimin. As the omega was about to move to their bedroom, Jungkook grabbed his slender wrist and pulled him back onto his lap, making Jimin straddle him again. This time, the soft, loving gazes were gone from Jungkook's eyes.

Jimin gasped at the alpha's sudden action and held his breath when they were face to face again. But this time, Jimin noticed the difference in Jungkook's usually loving gaze. There was pain and anger in his eyes, and for the first time, Jimin felt truly scared of his own alpha.

Jungkook chuckled mockingly at the omega and slowly but firmly held Jimin's chin between his fingers and thumb. He pulled Jimin's face closer to his, and Jimin remained quiet, feeling terrified by Jungkook's uncharacteristic behavior. He had never seen this side of him before.

"See, my love, I want to make myself clear again, and I want you to hear me properly," Jungkook said, tucking Jimin's loose hair behind his ears. "I. Want. You. To. Be. With. Me. Always!" Jungkook smiled, but it wasn't his usual smile. Jimin looked at him with wide, fearful eyes. Inside, he was battling with himself. He wanted to stand up for his rights and his self-respect, but his timid nature held him back from doing anything drastic. Jungkook might be head over heels for him, but he was also a ruthless mafia lord who wouldn't hesitate to kill. Byt Jimin's inner voice also told him it would be better to die by his lover's hand than to live as his mistress.

Meanwhile, Jungkook smirked when Jimin didn’t react to his words, noticing only fear in the omega’s eyes. He released his grip on Jimin’s chin and lightly patted his soft, flushed, wet cheeks before speaking.

"Good, my love. I’m happy you understand now. I think everything is back to normal between us!" Jungkook chuckled after finishing his sentence and looked deeply into Jimin’s eyes with raised eyebrows.

Jimin was still lost in his thoughts when Jungkook leaned in and started kissing him. Jungkook believed the omega might need his love, and he knew he had been too aggressive lately. He thought he could make up for it by showing Jimin some affection through his kiss.

The wet sound of their kiss was the only noise filling the room. Jimin didn't close his eyes and remained frozen, unable to react. Jungkook circled his arms around Jimin and pulled the omega closer. But suddenly, Jimin turned his head to the side, avoiding the alpha's kiss.

Jungkook rolled his tongue in his mouth, starting to feel annoyed by Jimin's resistance.

"You don't love me, hyung. If you really loved me, you would never disrespect me like this!" Jimin muttered, holding back his tears, though he knew he wouldn't be able to for much longer.
