Few moments ago...

Taehyung tossed and turned in his bed, drenched in sweat. Every time he closed his eyes, Jimin's face appeared in his mind, smiling softly. The words echoed in his head, haunting him. "Hyung, I'm pregnant with Jungkook's child."

His eyes flew open, and he gasped for breath, sitting up abruptly in his dark room. The night seemed endless. He was lying here, struggling to find peace, while outside, his brother, his cousin were marked for death-by none other than their own grandmother. The worst part? He was tangled in this disgusting plot.

Taehyung buried his face in his hands, groaning in frustration. What did happiness mean anymore? What did he want? What should he do? Every path seemed to be closing in on him, suffocating him. And then, again, he heard it. "Hyung, I'm pregnant with Jungkook's child."

He could see Jimin's glittering eyes, the ones he had always loved. They sparkled with joy, and a little drop tear hung at the corner of those almond-shaped eyes. Jimin looked at him with so much happiness. How could Taehyung fill those eyes with pain? How could he steal the light from them?

The truth hit him like a bullet. No matter what happened tonight, Jimin would always belong to Jungkook. And if Jimin ever found out that Taehyung had played a part in this twisted plan, he would never want to see him again. Ever. The thought tore through him, making his chest ache.

He threw the blanket off, heart racing, and grabbed his phone. Pacing the room, he dialed a number, his mind in turmoil, biting his nails out of sheer frustration. "Pick up the phone, pick up the phone!" he muttered desperately.

He was calling Jungkook, but the alpha wasn't answering. At that time, Jungkook was driving to the port which is actually a trap to capture him and kill him on the spot. However oblivious to all Jungkook was lost in his music, enjoying a cigarette, unbeknownst to the storm brewing on the other end of the line.

"Damn it!" Taehyung cursed, hanging up. His heart pounded in his chest as he dialed another number, his fingers trembling. This time, the call was answered after a few rings.

Jungkook closed his eyes as a tear, reflecting the street lamps upside down, slid down his bloodied cheek. Each bullet that pierced his skin unleashed a torrent of blood, painting his face and the road beneath him. Despite the agony, all he could see was Jimin's smiling face, the sound of Jimin's soft, beautiful giggles echoing in his mind. A faint smile formed on Jungkook's lips, even as blood dripped from them. The pain was intense, but the happy memories of Jimin numbed him to it.

A cold breeze brushed against his raven hair, but the strands, soaked with blood, barely moved. Jungkook was lost in the memories of Jimin, blocking out all his senses. He wanted to embrace death with Jimin's face in his mind. The omega had given him everything he had ever wanted-unconditional love, care, and a sense of belonging. He remembered the gentle way Jimin would caress his hair as he slept, the delicious meals Jimin would cook, and how the omega would worry over even the smallest of his injuries, like a mere paper cut.

But how would Jimin react if he saw Jungkook like this, covered in blood? The thought made Jungkook chuckle softly, though it was laced with sadness. Would Jimin be upset? Or heartbroken? The sadness deepened in Jungkook's heart, and more tears mingled with the blood on his face. But he had no choice. He had taken so many lives without hesitation-wasn't it only fair that he should die too? It seemed simple and almost natural. So, this was his payment.

But before surrendering to his fate, Jungkook whispered softly, "Take care, my love. Take good care of our baby too... and I will always love you both, forever..."
