(Jimin's home)

Jimin sat on the couch, his heart pounding in his chest. He wanted to tell the truth, to say, "No, Hyung, it's your baby," but he couldn't. The words were stuck in his throat. He wanted to stay away from the complications that the truth would bring. He knew Jungkook might have doubts, but the alpha looked so shocked that Jimin could tell the news had taken him by surprise. And then to say that the baby was Taehyung's, not his, had shaken Jungkook even more.

Jimin straightened up on the couch, avoiding Jungkook's gaze. He felt ashamed of his own words. How could he do this to the person he loved the most? The father of the baby growing inside him. The thought made him feel sick. He bit his bottom lip, feeling Jungkook's eyes on him. Jungkook was lost in his own thoughts, staring at Jimin in disbelief.

Jimin looked away again. He couldn't bear to look at Jungkook any longer. He tried to think of what to say next, but before he could speak, Jungkook stood up. He took several steps back, moving away from Jimin. Jimin raised his gaze to see Jungkook moving away slowly, his eyes filled with tears. His shoulders slumped, and for the first time in years, Jimin saw Jungkook looking so devastated and heartbroken.

Jimin's legs felt weak, and he was tempted to stand up and blurt out the truth. But he bit his lip and fidgeted with his fingers, stopping himself from going to Jungkook and apologizing. He couldn't fix things between them now. If he told the truth, he would become a secret lover, and their baby would be called illegitimate. No, he thought to himself, he couldn't let that happen. It was better to become a single parent than to have his child be called illegitimate.

So, Jimin kept quiet. Meanwhile, Jungkook stood there, waiting for Jimin to say something. Did Jimin really think Jungkook would believe that lie? Jungkook knew Jimin too well. The thing that hurt the alpha the most was that Jimin was so desperate to leave him that he had stolen the chance for Jungkook to be called the father of his own child. This betrayal broke Jungkook's heart.

Jungkook waited, hoping that Jimin would say, "No, alpha, I'm sorry, I was just lying. It's yours. You're the father." But those words never came. Jimin sat there, playing with his fingers, avoiding eye contact. It broke Jungkook even more.

Finally, Jungkook turned around. He strode towards the door and walked out of the house, slamming the door behind him. The loud noise made Jimin flinch. He sat there, alone, his heart heavy with regret and sorrow. He wanted to run after Jungkook, to tell him the truth, but he couldn't. The lie had already been told, and now he had to live with the consequences.

It was already noon, but the sky was covered with dark clouds. Loud claps of thunder echoed through the air, and soon the gentle sound of raindrops pattering began. Jungkook walked out of the vintage-looking small house and into the rain, heading toward his sleek, black, expensive-looking car. His tears flowed freely now, blending with the raindrops on his face. He was oddly relieved, knowing that the rain would wash away the evidence of his pain.
