Lando's POV:

Qualifying day at Silverstone. The paddock is alive with the familiar sounds of engines roaring and teams prepping. Despite the discussion last night, I'm trying to push everything aside and focus on the race. But there's one thing that's keeping my spirits up—Ana is here with me today, and she's going to meet my family.

As we make our way to the garage, I spot Ana talking with a few of the McLaren crew members. She's always so effortlessly charming, fitting right in despite the chaos around us. I walk over to her, my heart feeling a bit lighter just being near her.

"Hey," I say, sliding my arm around her waist. "You ready to meet my parents?"

She turns to me with a smile, though I can see a hint of nervousness in her eyes. "Isn't it a bit too soon?" she asks, trying to sound casual but I can sense the anxiety.

I grin at her, shaking my head. "It's my home race, Ana. Of course, they'd be here. It's more rude if I don't introduce you."

Her eyes soften at my words, and she nods. "Alright."

"I'm sure," I assure her, giving her a quick kiss on the forehead. "They're going to love you."

We walk together to the hospitality area where my parents are waiting. My siblings couldn't make it because of school and competitions abroad, but having my mom and dad here means a lot. They're standing near the entrance, chatting with a few team members, but as soon as they see us, they wave us over.

"Mom, Dad, this is Ana," I introduce, feeling a mix of excitement and nerves. "Ana, these are my parents."

My mom immediately steps forward with a warm smile and pulls Ana into a hug. "Hi, how are you, Ana?"

Ana returns the hug, looking pleased. "Hello, Mrs. Norris. It's really lovely to meet both of you."

"Oh, just call me Cisca. You find the weather good?" My mom smiles.

"Yes, it looks like weather's going to be lovely this whole afternoon."

My dad extends his hand for a handshake, his smile matching my mom's. "Good to meet you, Ana. Welcome to the chaos that is race weekend."

Ana laughs, shaking his hand. "Thank you. I'm still getting used to all of it, but it's been fun."

We spend a few minutes chatting, and I can tell my parents are already taken with Ana. She's handling everything so well, and I can't help but feel charmed by her again.

"I'll let you guys catch up," my dad says, noticing the time. "We've got to head over to the garage soon. Good luck today, son."

"Thanks, Dad," I say, giving him a quick hug. My mom hugs me too, whispering, "She's lovely," before they head off toward the garage.
