landonorris: see you this weekend, Belgium! 🇧🇪
Lando's POV:
Tuesday morning. The soft light of the sunrise filters through the curtains, casting a glow across the room. I'm awake, but I don't move. I'm savoring the feeling of Ana's leg draped over mine. She's still fast asleep, her hair a mess, and the sheets are tangled around her. I wanna freeze this moment in time.
I shift slightly, turning to face her, and pull her a little closer. She stirs slightly but doesn't wake. I grin, my hand gently brushing the hair from her face as I lean in, planting soft kisses along the curve of her neck.
Her skin is warm and I can't help myself. I press another kiss, a little lower this time, trailing along her shoulder. I nuzzle closer, inhaling the familiar scent of her. After a few more moments, she groans softly, her eyes fluttering open groggily. "Lando," she murmurs, her voice still thick with sleep, "what are you doing?"
"Morning," I whisper against her skin, kissing her collarbone. "Thought I'd start the day by kissing you awake."
She chuckles softly, her hand finding my chest as she lazily tries to push me away. "Mmm... no morning run?"
"I was going to..." I trail off, kissing her neck again, enjoying the way she's melting into the bed. "But this seemed like a better option."
Ana laughs lightly, her body relaxing back into the pillows as she finally gives in. "Mmm, stay please?" She playfully pouts and I can't help but chuckle.
I smile, pulling her closer to me, our bodies now tangled beneath the sheets. "Gladly."
We lay there for a while, wrapped in each other, the world outside forgotten. Her fingers trace idle patterns on my arm as she slowly wakes up, her head resting on my chest. There's a calmness to the moment, a sense that everything is just as it should be.
After a while, I shift slightly, breaking the comfortable silence. "Can I ask you something?"
Ana lifts her head, looking up at me with sleepy curiosity. "What's on your mind?"
I pause, searching her eyes for a moment before asking, "Where do you see yourself in five years?"
She blinks, clearly not expecting that question. "Five years?" she repeats, her lips quirking into a small smile. "I haven't really thought that far ahead."
"Think about it now," I nudge her playfully.
Ana bites her lip, thinking for a moment. "Still doing what I'm doing, but on a larger scale. Bigger projects, more impact. Hopefully making a difference in the political world, but maybe with a little more freedom to travel and enjoy life."
I smile, loving how driven she is, how clear she is about her goals. "Sounds like a solid plan."
"What about you?" she asks, raising an eyebrow. "Where's Lando Norris in five years?"
