Lando's POV:

The morning started slow, with everyone still shaking off jet lag. Carlos, Max, and a few of our friends had flown in earlier today and immediately crashed for a nap. Now, though, we're on a yacht having brunch, gearing up for a perfect day at sea. The sun glints off the water, and there's a relaxed vibe among all of us—exactly what we needed after weeks of non-stop schedules.

Carlos and Max are chatting about Carlos' trip to the U.S with his dad recounting the golf courses they visited. I'm half-listening, but my attention keeps drifting to Ana. She's sitting beside me, looking effortlessly beautiful in her light blue blouse and navy skirt. Across from us, Ana and Pietra are laughing and talking about the best spots in Madrid for when Pietra visits.

"It'd be mad if we stayed in Madrid for a few weeks like locals," I chime in, picturing us just blending into the city's pace.

Pietra shoots me a knowing grin. "Aren't you already a local, Lando? You've been spotted in a few online posts there."

I roll my eyes, smirking. "What can I say? My girlfriend lives there, and I like being with her."

Ana blushes a bit but leans into me, and I kiss the back of her head gently. Just then, Carlos catches the moment, and he can't resist jumping in.

"Oy, too much public display of affection," he teases, his smirk growing wider.

Ana doesn't miss a beat. "Should've invited Mia, Carlos."

Carlos, already a bit red, rubs the back of his neck awkwardly. "I did invite her. She said she had work."

"PR crisis management?" Ana asks knowingly.

Carlos nods. "Yeah, I saw her yesterday after I got back."

The whole group—me, Ana, Max, and Pietra—erupts in cheers, teasing Carlos even more, which makes his face turn a deeper shade of red. He tries to wave it off, but we're relentless.

"Calm down, guys," Carlos says, half-smiling, half-embarrassed. "We're still getting to know each other."

I laugh, patting him on the back. "Mate, you're literally a chili pepper with how red you are."

As the afternoon drifts on, the drinks start flowing, and Max puts on some music. Everyone relaxes into the lazy rhythm of the day. Ana is sunbathing next to me with her AirPods in, and I can't help but smile as I watch her. She notices, pulling out one earbud.

"What?" she asks, squinting up at me, a grin tugging at her lips.

I lean over, brushing my lips against her shoulder. "What are you listening to?"

"Just a random trivia podcast," she replies, the amusement clear in her voice.

I raise an eyebrow. "A random trivia podcast?"
