Lando's POV:

"YES, LANDO! P1, mate! Absolutely brilliant drive!" my race engineer shouts as I cross the finish line, I feel a surge of emotion explode through me.

"P1, baby! You smashed it, Lando!" Zak's voice comes through, steady but filled with pride. "That was a masterclass, Lando."

I laugh, catching my breath. "Simply lovely. Thanks, everyone. The car was perfect today–team effort all around. Thank you, thank you."

I barely register what's happening as I roll into the winner's spot. The car feels weightless as I climb out, my fists punching the air. The sea of orange roars in celebration–flags, flares, and the blare of horns blending into one euphoric symphony. This isn't just a victory. It's a statement.

"Get in there!" Jon's voice booms over the headset as I'm engulfed by the McLaren team. I barely have time to breathe before I'm pulled into a series of back-slapping, cheering, and overwhelming emotions.

"Congratulations, Lando. That was an unbelievable drive!" Zak shouts, pulling me into a bear hug. "Just flawless!"

I nod, grinning so hard my cheeks hurt. I want to savor every second of this moment. I glance around and spot Ana standing just behind Zak.

"Ana!" I call out, reaching for her.

She rushes forward, throwing her arms around my neck. "You did it!" she breathes, her voice trembling slightly.

"We did it!" I murmur, holding her tightly. I lean in to kiss her, but my helmet bumps against her cheek. "Shit," I mutter, fumbling to set it down before pulling her close again, this time pressing my lips against her properly.

"I'm so proud of you, P1" she whispers against my lips.

"Thank you," I whisper back. I want to stay like this forever, but we're interrupted by Nat, gesturing frantically.

"Lando, energy drink and cool down room!" Nat calls me over from across the area. Everyone chuckles around us and I give Ana one last quick kiss. "I'll see you back at the room later, yeah?"

She nods, smiling. "Go get your trophy, champ."

The adrenaline is still coursing through me as I head to the cooling room. I push through the doors, and there they are – Max and Charles. Max is toweling off, grinning, and Charles is leaning back in his chair, looking both impressed and exhausted.

"Lando," Max says, clapping me on the shoulder. "What a drive, mate."

"You were right on me the whole time."

"Couldn't catch you, though," Max chuckles, shaking his head. "Fastest I've ever seen you."

Charles nods in agreement, "Seriously, congrats mate. 24 second gap from me. That was something else."
