"Max gave this to me," I said, looking at the necklace that was now in my hand.

"Oh," he said, looking at it.

"What are we doing, Charles? I'm supposed to be on a flight back to New York right now."

" I don't know what we doing, but I just know that I love you," he said, giving me a peck on the lips. My heart melted for a second.

" I love you too, but...."

"But what Jules? Isn't that enough?"

"I really want it to be enough, but I can't help thinking about what's going to happen the second we burst out of this bubble." I said, my voice trembling.

His face fell, and I could see the hurt in his eyes, "What do you mean?"

"I can't lie to max, he's my brother, and he means the world to me. If he finds out about us like this, it's all going to be ruined. And then there's the media. They'll have a field day with this. It'll be a mess."

He took a deep breath, his eyes never leaving mine.

"I mean, how long are we going to keep this up until something or someone gets in the way, the media or max or the situation of everything," I asked, the reality of our situation weighing heavily on me.

"Maybe we don't have to figure out everything right now," he said assuring me.

"What do you mean?"

"Come with me for two weeks. First Monaco, then Spain for the Grand Prix. No pressure, no expectations, just us. Let's see how things go without all the outside noise," he said his voice filled with hope.

I hesitated and fear press down on me, but then I looked into his eyes. I saw this sincerity and loved that and felt a flicker of hope.

"Two weeks?" I asked softly.

"That's all I'm asking, besides, you can send out residency applications on the trip," he confirmed a small smile playing on his lips.

I took a deep breath, feeling the gravity of the decision, but in that moment, I realised I was willing to take the chance.

"Alright, two weeks."

I could take out two weeks right? I mean itd be perfect to see if its all worth it. Am I making the right decision?

The next day, we boarded Charles's private jet bound for Monaco. This sleek interior was luxurious, but it still felt surreal. I settled into the seat next to Charles, the excitement and nerves mingling in my stomach.

As the jet took off, I couldn't help but feel a wave of exhaustion wash over me, the emotional rollercoaster of the past few days had left me drained. I lean my head against his shoulder, feeling the warmth of his body and the steady rhythm of his breathing. It wasn't long before I drifted off to sleep.

When I woke up, I felt disoriented for a moment. He was shaking my shoulder, a mischievous smile on his face.

"Hey, wake up sleeping beauty," he said softly
