My heart skipped a beat. Guilt and anxiety washing all over me. Shit.

"What the hell?" Max said his voice, low and angry. He seemed so hurt. "Unbelievable." he muttered storming off.

I looked back at Charles, who met my eyes with concern and frustration. Tears weld up in my eyes and seeing them, Charles's expression shifted to anger. He made a move to follow max, but I quickly grabbed his arm.

" No Charles, wait. No, you stay here. Let me handle this please. He's my brother. Please just stay here."

He hesitated , but eventually he stepped back .

I rushed out of the room, my heart pounding . "Max Max! Max wait!"

He dint slowdown, but after a few moments, he finally came to a stop. We were in the middle of a quiet corridor away from the hustle of the paddock.

"So this is what you've been keeping for me? This is why you haven't returned my calls?" his voice is listed with hurt and betrayal.

"I wanted to tell you. I was going to. You never meant to find out this way."

"Seems like I was never meant to find out at all" he shot back.

Just then Charles appeared, "Hey Max, Max, it's not her fault," he said, trying to diffuse this situation.

Max's Fury redirected to Charles as he pushed him. "Don't even get me started on you. Playing with my sister? You really crossed the line, Leclerc"

"You have no idea what you're talking about," Charles said growing angry, but he didn't do anything about the push.

"You're trying to tell me, you two have not slept together?"

We were  Unable to hide the truth as our silence spoke volumes. Max's expression darkened even further, realising the depth of our relationship.

Max's face contorted as if he was on the verge of tears. "Oh shit, Jules."

"I knew it. So, you really have just been fucking him and lying to me?"

"Alright Max! that's enough." Charles said, stepping forward.

"No! It isn't enough. She has no clue what she's gotten herself into with you! She's not one of the girls who you pick up the bar every night! This is my sister! My sister!" Max shouted, his voice echoing going down the hallway.

"This is bullshit. We're not five max. Stop whining." Charles snapped back, his anger flaring.

Max lost it. In a flash, he launched at Charles and the two collided with a force that made me gasp. Grappling fists flying, and bodies slamming into walls. Through a wide bunch that got trials on the job making stagger. Charles hit with a swift job to max ribs, making him grunt in pain.

They crashed into a stack of crates, knocking them over. Max swung again, but Charles tackled him to the ground. They held each trying to gain the upper hand, their breath, ragged, and heavy. Max managed to get on top and managed a punch to face, which has pushed him off the fear shave.

"Charles, stop! Please just stop!" I screamed my voice, breaking through the chaos.

The sight of them, hurting each other, the intensity of their fight tore my heart. I rushed forward desperate to separate them, desperate to end this madness.

Charles eventually relented his chest heaving as he stepped back, hands dropping to his side. Max too calmed wiping the blood from his slip. I looked at Max, my heart beating vigorously.

"Please, Max" I began, but he stormed off again, heading towards his room with long strides.

"Please max! Max wait!" I chased after him, but he was fast, and I struggled to keep up.
