walker didn't know if gracie was mad they kissed, should he have asked for consent?

gracie wasn't mad, she was confused. and her stupid mind and her pit of endless emotions in her stomach confused her even more.
she DID NOT like ariana. fact.

"jules i don't know what to do im going to rip my hair out!" she ranted to her older sister. she always confided in her. sometimes her advice was worth listening to.
"well i think you're scared about losing ariana. i mean you are happy shes with dior now but you're also upset because you feel like you're losing her which isn't true but you think it is and you think getting attached to walker will also make you lose ariana even more. which also isnt true but your mind wont let you be happy with walker because you're still paranoid and have crazy abandonment issues." jules assumes.
gracie's mouth was left agape. "okay well thank you miss mind reader." she mutters.
how the fuck did jules know all that?
"its my specialty, you know being older sister." she says with a wink.
"can i come in now!" leena yells from outside the door.
gracie nods at jules as she lets leena back into the room.
"well we look like we got some things off our chests!" leena claps happily. "now who's ready for the beachhh!"
