BEING ON SET, was exhilarating. gracie had never seen such an intricately crafted tv show set before. usually chicken girls was just filmed in a regular school, this was different, these were actual sets, sets people had put their time and effort into creating to bring the fantastical world of percy jackson to life.
gracie felt as if she had cured the heart of her eight year old self, the one who was obsessed with percy jackson books and would never put them down. the one who got lost in the mythological world and swore she was a half blood. and now her dreams were coming true.
she was now aurora swan, child of the goddess of beauty, aphrodite.
looking around the set, she felt excited to embark on this new journey. as well as singing, acting and dancing were also huge passions of gracies. the three of them were intertwined in a way, always able to work effortlessly together when needed, like in a musical play.
but now this was a bigger project for gracies acting, no more silly, stereotypical middle school drama. this was more than that, this was going on a perilous quest, fighting monsters and saving their friend.
"being back on set gets me so excited," a familiar voice spoke behind her. walker smiled as his blue eyes met her brown ones.
she hated to admit how much she really did miss him, but things couldn't just go back to normal all of sudden, he had hurt her, lying and saying they should future out their feelings while he went and got a girlfriend.
gracie doesn't return the smile and simply walked off to her trailer, it was killing her to ignore walker but its what he deserved.

after a long day of preparation and training, gracie had some serious respect for the season one cast, fighting with a heavy ass sword and shield was not easy.
but now she was free of that, and was ready to start recording songs with the gracie abrams.
"dude, who hurt you this much to write blowing smoke?" gracie abrams pondered as she read through the lyrics.
gracie decided to let it spill, i mean after all gracie abrams and her were basically bffs now, and she was so fun to tell gossip to.
"you're kidding. i hate this walker guy." she voices as gracie laughs. "hey at least these songs are going to be so emotional he's gonna wish he never messed with you."
gracie smiles at her icon, the one and only, the woman she's looked up to since she heard 'stay' in 2018. if gracie abrams had no fans, gracie leblanc would be dead.

after getting through three extremely heartfelt songs to gracie, they called it a day as she went back home. dreadfully remembering she has to share a room with the one she sang her heart out about.
she plopped onto her bed, mentally and physically exhausted from today. walker walked in with his curly hair all messy and wet from his shower. gracie hated the fact he literally looked so good.
"hey uh pizzas downstairs if you didn't eat yet." he says as gently as possible, hoping she didn't ignore him again.
"not hungry." gracie grumbles, turning away from his vision.
"um, no we're not doing this again." he scolds carrying her up bridal style.
gracie would've fought back but the warmth of his touch, his fresh smell, just him. she couldn't resist. and also she was just utterly tired.
he carried her down the stairs and sat her down on the couch as he went to go warm her some pizza. it was already about 10pm so literally everyone had retreated to their rooms but them.
"eat." he states putting the plate in front of gracie.
he didn't want to say anything out loud about it, but she felt extremely light in his arms, like unnaturally light, and he noticed how her face had sunken quite a lot from the last time he saw her.
his heart twitched with guilt, did he cause this?
gracie hadn't known how hungry she actually was until she scarfed down all her pizza in the span of 5 minutes. she let out a unladylike burp as walker chuckled.
he really missed her.
"gracie, i'm sorry." his apology weighing for everything he had done the past month.
gracie met his blue eyes, full of sincerity. she knew he was, but she couldn't forgive him so easily. after all the pain he had caused her, a simple apology meant nothing.
"sorry doesn't cut it walker." she says harshly and with that she stormed off upstairs leaving walker to think about the consequences of his actions.
