An Unexpected Desire

CHAPTER 8: AN ACCIDENT

Jasmine's pov

I woke up with  a strange noises, that were keep coming from my surroundings..my vision was blur , I couldn't see much ; my head was spinning and there was pain in my whole body like someone is keep pricking a sharp needle through my whole body...

As I slowly opened my eyes , my vision keeps getting clear .. I found myself in an empty room..the room was white with windows and desk besides me ...

Soon I discovered that I am in hospital because a nurse in a white outfit came to me for regular check up..

As soon she found me already woke up..she called the doctor and after few minutes , doctor came.. he asked me some questions related to my health that how am I feeling right now ? And some more.. and I just replied with either yes , no or give a smile..

As soon as they left me and went outside of the room , my eyes started taking a glance of each corner of that room.. the room was kind of filled with some mechanical tools and a sofa..

I was laying on a bed , comfortably..but several questions were coming in my mind about my arrival..what exactly happend with me last night?..

After few minutes..the door of my room barged open and I saw granny coming towards me..her facial expressions were tensed ..

Dhe came and sat in front of me in a table..and took my hand in both of her hands ,then patted me and kissed me in forehead..her eyes were filled with different kind of emotions..like fear , regret and many more..

" I am sorry jas! It was all my fault" she said while crying..

I patted her head and told " its okay granny , it wasn't you fault at all" I was continuously convincing her then suddenly I saw a very unexpected man approaching me..

He approached me and gave me a bouquet of bright flowers and sat next to granny..

" hey jasmine! How are you right now? " He asked with concerning face..

" hi Sam, Yeah better" i replied with a smile..

" I absolutely didn't expect you to come.. how have u known about me?" I asked him for which he replied..

" it was me , who brought you here actually " I was shocked by his answer..and I think he understood my feelings and stared telling me whole incident "  After few minutes of your departure , I get a call from Mr William.. he was saying that you forget some files in your  office and you were not picking his call ..so he called me as he thought that you would be in party but I told him that you were already gone.. and because it was late and you were not picking any of us's calls  so I decided to go after your cab..and then I saw that your cab had a very bad accident and driver was not there in the cab..and then I brought you here " I was completely amazed by his words...

"Then where did drive go?"

" don't know..we have already called cops..so they might be finding him..you don't take any kind of stress..it's not good for your health..just take rest and call me anytime whenever you need something " he said with a smile and I smiled back and nodded..

After that..he went out and I and granny we had some alone time together..she gossiped about her meeting that she attend  during afternoons and then how much she was worried about me..

I was very happy to see her here with me..she copped some fruits for me , changed my dress.. and after that she went for some work..

As I was alone on my bed..my mind was keep revolving around my accident and the driver..thinking about this I fell asleep..

As I woke up .. I saw a nurse was approaching to my room..then she held my hand gently and took me to washroom and I freshen up..

She gently made me sat down on the bed and start dressing my wonds again.. I had a very bad accident but hopefully I didn't get much wonds.. I just got scratches on several parts of my body..I still don't get this that how would I get only scratches after meeting such a deadly accident.. but there is no use of thinking too much because no one knows much about this..

The nurse dressed my wonds and told me that I can get discharged the day after tomorrow..I was so happy by this..
And then she went out..

As I was celebrating my happiness by clapping and smiling..I get a call from Mr William..a very unexpected one..I kept it ringing for several times..and then pick it up after four rings..I put it on my ear and said hello..

" how are you feeling Mrs jasmine ?"

"Fine , thank you for asking this" I said with a smile because I was genuinely happy ..

" hmm..well I actually called you to inform you that you can join the office from the day after tommorow " and with that he hung up..

What the freaking hell was that..

Did he just call me to inform this..oh god..
I glared the phone and through on bed..and rolled my hands on my chest..and started making faces..

Meanwhile I didn't notice granny who was standing at the door watching me..she came towards me and ask that is everything fine? On which I smiled and replied yeah everything is fine.. and then she started serving meals..

Morning time..

I woke up to find Anthony, seating besides me with a smile on his face..I screamed because of our proximity...and he just started laughing..

" Oh god , Anthony you nearly choke me out" ..

" yeah ..I know" he said while smiling..

" so , how's your scratches?.. does it bothering you?"

" not very much ..I am absolutely fine, buddy" he just smiled at my response.. and then gave me some chocolates..my favorite one..

" Oh thank you Anthony..I was craving for these.. " I started eating it but  he caught my hand..

" first , brush your teeth " he said while I just rolled my eyes and went to brush my teeth..
After that I and Anthony spent some time together and meanwhile granny too joined us..we three of us played cards, gossipped , ate junk food and enjoyed the whole day..

Soon it was evening .. so Anthony left and granny slept on the sofa .. and I also slept after sometime..

Next Morning..........

I got discharged from hospital.. and Anthony help us to get through the hospital..As I reached home , I took a deep breath and went for bath..I bathed , wore clothes and after having meal..I went for office..

I don't know why but I was expecting grand celebration for welcoming me again..and I was smiling inwardly by only thinking of this..but As soon as I reached office..

Everything was same..neither any grand celebration nor any kind of wishes.. ahh .. with a sad face I went to my cabin..as I reached their , I welcomed by luca.. and then he told me that Mr William is waiting for me in his cabin..

May be I am dreaming too much now , I should just focus on my goal...
