An Unexpected Desire

CHAPTER 20: SOMETHING DANGEROUS

Jasmine's pov

" marry me ! " He confronted looking at me...

" what ! " I asked making a confused and surprised expressions...

" I don't like repeating my words " he exclaimed without any expression..

" do you even have any idea , what are you saying now " i asked with same expressions on my face , but he didn't utter a word and was just looking at me..

After a while he finally spoke " our marriage is within a week " and with that he started to leave..

" are you even serious ? No! " I shouted but he neither said anything nor stopped...so I ran and came in front of his path and blocked his way with my hands floating on air..

" you are kidding , Right ? " I queried innocently making an eye contact.....on which he looked me for a while and then put his hands in his pockets and leaned closer to my face , wishpereing in deep voice ; making me shivers " no , I am not " and then he pulled himself out and left from there to his car and drove off , leaving me alone...

I remained there in same position for God knows how much time time...after I came to my senses , I searched for someone around but there was no one...I quickly went outside the parking lot and waited for a taxi since my cab driver has already gone , soon I found one and left from there to home...

After I reached home , I and granny had a little chit-chat then we together had dinner and then I went to my bedroom...

I closed the door from behind and jumped on the bed...

I was too tired to even move my eyesight since I had a lot of work today...I closed my eyes and as soon as sleep was about to took over me , my phone started buzzing....I completely ignored it but it again buzzed...I didn't had strength to look it , so I still ignored it , and the notification stopped coming too...

But , after few minutes it again started buzzing..three times ; four ; five...and after a minute someone started calling me...I got frustrated and looked the time on wall clock...it was approx 9 in the night..

" who the fuck is calling me right now ?" I muttered in my sleep then gathered some strength and slip my hand towards phone , caught it and started looking over it..

My eyes got widened as I saw the ID of a person...I quickly sat on the bed and started checking messages..

Monster :

I want to discuss something important related to our marriage..

Monster :

meet me in the office tommorow.

Monster :

and don't even think about arguing with me.

Monster:

Mrs jasmine?

Monster :

I am talking to you! Where are you?

I read all his messages , I gulped looking at it but at the same time I was feeling furious...how can he continued this topic , I thought he was joking around...i took a little time to myself and thought ' does he really want to marry me '

I thought for sometime before replying him , and then I finally typed and sent it..
